ok just redid my server files and took infistar out of the equation so it's not infistar causing it to not show,

but you can see i now get the correct numbers for the gunbag is there some other configurations that might need to be done for it to grab the traderdata base?

I use default Epoch Chernarus map  with default currency and default traders_data,

anyone got a idea why it's not seeing the trader_data or am i suppose to tell the advance trading where to look for my trader_data somewhere?

You need to use ConfigBasedTraders it doesnt work with the default SQL.

And then in description.ext

adding those two commands worked great thanks Zupa ..

 

but one issue arises now i can see the weapons in the truck on the buy side but when i go to sell it shows nothing in the truck

1 ) COnfig traders are better for your server. Since the server doesn't need to check the database for prices. It can just look in the files local to the client.

 

 

2 ) If you want to edit prices, you simply get those files which u linked to.

 

Add them to your mission file, edit them and change the path

Keep getting message on screen. No advanced buying of weapons / backpacks at this time for security reasons.

How do I fix that? at least for the weapons.

 

Sounds like u still use the 1.0 versions. Update to 2.1

Is there a way to facilitate gem traders and other non-currency items? We're not using coins. I have the old trader files from 1.0.4 which will do it and have them running on my Napf server that uses database traders with the Afile just changed to _old. Can I add the call to those files into this advanced trading as well? I was looking at the files and it looks like I'd need to make edits here in each file:

It's not that easy. It needs to be rewritten. Pointing at those files will just break it since it's a completely different system.

 

It's possible however to extend AT with gems but it needs some extra code then.

However, when I went to go to the Hero camp to buy 10x DMR mags, the dialogue says you paid 900 for this and then I check my main inventory to find that 9 briefcases have been added to it.....i tried it with different amounts and instead of removing proper amounts of bcs it keeps adding large amounts. There is no error that I see in my report, and I set it up exactly. Everything else works fine, I just noticed this a few moments ago.

Are you sure it are gold briefcases? They might contain silver briefcases.

heyyy, I recently installed this script and it is on the server however, when I scroll my mouse wheel I get the option. but when I actually click to enter the menu nothing shows up. Any ideas?

 

If you have no rpt errors, you probably didn't add the exception to infistar.

Yea Im still having the problem Admins Can use the traders just fine while players without Admin cannot, I added the exception in the Allowed Dialogs. 

 

The Player can open the menu but when they select buy they cannot see any of the guns in the shop while admins can also the trader will say the line "I will accept.... from your gear" and it shows the numers on the top of things he will buy but as far as the actual items they wont show up and the entire system works fine for admins but not for players.

I am having the exact same issue.

edit: It was something in AH.sqf

I can't recall which section it was I removed. but I went looking for idc's and lbclear, and deleted a few []spawn threads.

 

Seems good for me now.

yes i checked each one and its 10 x 10oz Goldbar briefcases. I also want to note that its only with the DMR mags for some reason too. Ive purchased all the other ammo and havent had this issue.

 

Will do some testing. Can you give me some senarios so i can reproduce. 

 

What item for example, and what money did u have in gear/backpack/car.

I've went through all the pages to find out if there was fix for players being able to pull up a trader menu on the functionary skin, can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem? 

 

issue:

Player scrolls on other player that has functionary skin (business suit) and has the advanced trader menu.

I've went through all the pages to find out if there was fix for players being able to pull up a trader menu on the functionary skin, can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem? 

 

issue:

Player scrolls on other player that has functionary skin (business suit) and has the advanced trader menu. 

 

That's because the trader uses the same skin. We need to build in a check if the target is not a player in the selfactions. ( also with normal trading an issue i guess then since it's placed in the same check°.

Hi guys, noticed something yesterday, When trying to buy from trader and send stuff to MTVR we got a message saying theres not enough room in MTVR. The MTVR was empty of items but was containing 1 backpack. Take out the backpack from MTVR and the advance trade was working.

 

Is this normal or it some kind of protection? maybe comming from a duping script i have?

      To unlock vehicles left in your traders over a server restart, open your epoch_server.pbo

      In epoch_server\compile\epoch_vehicle\EPOCH_load_vehicles.sqf
      Find

      Hi, me again.
       
      For some reason when i spawn in and collect coins or loadout the next time i disconnect and come back it puts me back into spawn and money is all disappeared. 

      There's no hive errors.
      The only error in the Server RPT is :
      And I have 2 errors in my client RPT. Looks like they relate to zsc but I have reinstalled it from scratch and still the same.

      I have an overpoch Sauerland server. The vehicle traders are not spawning when you buy. The SOB takes your money and gives you a key, but no vehicle.  The arrow comes up for about 12 seconds.  After the restart, they are there, all on top of each other.
      NO, I do not have infistar installed.  It brakes the server. No admin tools at all.
      Here are my server and client RPTs. Can someone please take a look for me?
