All Overwatch skins Fix in Overpoch

Question

Hey guys, went through every single skin from ow and pulled out the ones that weren't just repetitive skins to reduce clutter since as you can see this is huge, but this basically fixes an issue where if you were to wear this skin it prevents it from vanishing after restart. Goes in your variables.sqf where it says "AllPLayers =" Then skin list of course. Hope this helps someone.

Well I have infiStar and I cannot see these skins in the spawn menu. 
Only Player Morph.

:(

 

Basically I'm wanting some of the US Military skins to be available for ONLY my clan on the server (we don't want to be impersonated because we ASSIST survivors and if people start acting like us, it will ruin what we do)

Yeah its my antihack doing it. But its due to the skins being "fishy". All im wondering is if u actually tested all theese skins ingame. By relogging and making sure that they actually can be used on a live server or if u just made a list of skins..? :)

Having issues with some ow skins that you get disconnected from the server due to "Side not west" .. :)

 

With these skins you can walk into a mission without being shot. That's why I took out th OW skins on my server, way too much clauses for them to be usable.

just leaving this here ^^:

 

since you are only telling people to allow custom skins from the database and not giving them a solution to implement it.

 

Explanation of the variable "AllPlayers":

 

AllPlayers is a Global variables that tells the server which skins are allowed. This only gets checked when a player logs in, if the p)layer model is not in the AllPlayers variable then the skin gets reset to civilian ( See the following code) :

 

This code is in the "server_playerLogin.sqf"

if (!(_model in AllPlayers)) then {
_model = "Survivor2_DZ";
};

So adding the names to the AllPlayers allow the person to be able to login without his skin getting reset.

 

Now if u want to add those skins to your game for your players you can use my script for example (Epoch and Overpoch solution) :

 

 

There are indeed some skins ( not all) where AI doesnt shoot at, i will look for an solution to solve this.

So this is a bit old but i cant find any other info about this...

I have the exact same problem, The skins vanish whenever a player logs out and comes back in he has the basic survivor skin.

My question is:

Is this fixable in 1.0.6.1? Been trying to find a way to make the skins "permanent" for 4 days now XD

As per @Zupa's message above yours, any skins that are doing this need to be in the allPlayers array, here's the default one: https://github.com/EpochModTeam/DayZ-Epoch/blob/master/SQF/dayz_code/init/variables.sqf#L39

You can override this in your own custom variables.sqf (if you use zsc/virtual garage, vkc etc) by doing this:

allPlayers = allPlayers + ["custom_skin_here","another_custom_skin"];

Isnt working :/ Skins are still resetting. Any ideas what i should try to do?

      Hey there! I just set up an Overpoch Chernarus server on a server provider but the vehicle traders aren't spawning the vehicles when you buy them. The trader takes your gold bars, gives you a key, then a red arrow appears over where the vehicle Should spawn, but nothing appears. After restarting the server all the vehicles that were bought appear right on top of the spot where they were Suppose to show up.
      -I Do Not have infistar installed
      -I'm using worldwidesorrow's admin tools from here: https://github.com/worldwidesorrow/Epoch-Admin-Tools/tree/TestBranch
      -But just in case I removed the admin tool and tested the vehicle traders again but still no luck.
      Here is my server RPT: 
       
      Can someone please look into this. This is the exact issue discussed in this post but the solution doesn't apply in my case.

      Im setting up a new epoch 1.0.6 server with very little addons/mods installed, and when i was testing i realized safes/plotpoles/walls etc werent saving to the server database. Anyone got any ideas what might be wrong?

      First I want to say i'm not the owner of this server. I just really like the server! Why?
      Well it reminds me of the good old days, and it has an 'OG Epoch feeling'. This is because the map isn't edited and the loot is really balanced. 
      You can't just join, get 25000 coins and start shooting with a tank. It's not like those servers. Ow and another thing, if you open up a map, you won't see like 300 activities all going on at once, not turbid at all. 
      The server also uses the original silver/gold system and everything you find/build/shoot feels really rewarding. 
      The addons added to the server really add something special to the experience on the server, and not distract you from the original feeling.
      I have just played for a few days on the server, and there a few standard players (and the owner is really kind!). But we're still looking to share this amazing experience with other people who might be searching for the 'OG Epoch feeling'.
