SQL Update for All Vehicles and All Weapons

Hi Everyone,

 

I did try to search this but I only found a couple threads here and there relating to adding more items to the trader.  Does anyone have a server that has ALL the Arma guns and ALL the Arma vehicles in the trader for buy/sell?  If not, is this something anyone would be interested in working on with me?  I hate taking an Mi17 there and find it's some stupid variant that doesn't sell.

I honestly think you are going about it the wrong way. Rather than adding all vehicles and weapons into trader you should look at your dynamic vehicle spawn and other mods you might have that spawns vehicles and edit/add/remove the correct class names to it. There is a reason for why we have DZE versions of most vehicles, and that due to the radar, spawning with ammunition and other stuff like it. Else you would have to add all the OP version to you trader as a buy price of 250 briefcases so they can't buy the OP versions, instead of just correcting your scripts. Same goes for weapons. Adding all weapons would be much harder, than just fixing the scripts you have, to use the correct versions.

 

I was doing the same as you are requesting now, and then some smart person told me, the same as i'm telling you now (not saying that i'm smart at all) but i had to agree with him, and instead i began to edit my scripts. problem solved.

What host are you using, HFB by chance?

If you have some kind of webhost I would definite take a look at Private Hive Tools. They make it super easy of adding anything to the game with ease.
