Those files are already set up from a clean server build so it should work. The only thing they have in them is the stuff for admin tools.

 

I tried the server file from your link & it worked...very happy...

 

I'm curious though, what did I do wrong? What was the difference between the files I posted & the new one I just tried?

Save that link. I won't remove those files for a long time. I didn't look for differences. I have a lot to do most of the time so troubleshooting is kind of a hit or miss when I have a big workload. Figured it was easier to just post up the files from my test server.

Need some input:

A question on ESP: I have found a decent way to reduce lag for the enhanced ESP and it will be released in the next update, however did you like the old ESP from blue phoenix more? I have been debating rewriting the ESP similar to what bluephoenix did in the past, but it will take a bit of time.

Need some input:

I have a question for everyone on a new feature: Do you want teleport to be bound to a function key (teleport F1, TP2me F2, TP2player F3), or do you want it to just stay as a scroll item? If I bind it to the F keys you can press that key at any time (including when the ma is open) to initiate teleport where as the scroll menu requires you to close the map and scroll through the menu to do the teleport.

Well currently you can customize admin mode to have default on or off items by going to AdminMode.sqf there is an explanation on how to do this inside that file. The idea of it was that everything you need to perform your duties can be started by a single option. Admin Mode was only meant to be used when an admin needs to perform admin duties of any kind. When you perform admin duties typically you need invincibility, invisibility, and fast movement so that you can get where you need to, spy on who you need to, and not die while doing it.

I might make the F keys customizable. I have an interesting idea on how to do that. It would have a default of course, but if you go into the functionKeys.sqf you can move them around as you see fit.

Would it be possible to have the menu not close after you for example spawn a vehicle or change skins?

If I want to spawn several SUVs for example its a "pain" to have to open them menu several times.

 

I've been thinking about a way to circumvent Arma's default handling of the radio menu, which automagically closes whenever an option is selected.

 

One possibility is to make each selected option a 2-step process - run the desired command, AND re-run that menu section so that it pops back up instantly. It's not something I've done before but I think it's possible in theory.

for things i spawn in a lot i have just added them to the temp vehicle spawn, then before you click what you want, hold control, then just keep on clicking until you reach your desired amount

Dude that is hilarious. Nice find though. I was just going to write up a little script for him to make it possible. This will be very useful. Will probably add that into the readme in the FAQ

how would i go about completely disabling the flying script so that my admins cannot use it, it seems that this is the script that is lagging the hell out of our server

 

 

also godmode while in a vehicle is still not working, tested again, this time i was on an atv and played chicken with a ural... i lost, crashed an a-10 and died, and also after spawning 200 littlebirds on the ground using the temp menu, then blowing them up with a satchel charge and standing in the middle of the entire lot seemed to kill me as well (go figure :P )

I have no idea what is going on with your god mode. I blew up 75 satchels at my feet and nothing happened. Even dive bombed my admin with a plane and we both survived. I will do some testing to make sure, but so far I have no issues with it. Have you entered a safe zone before testing this? Most safezone scripts WILL counteract god mode.

this is what I have been doing since you took out the init.sqf admin list and it has been working. but  when you do a major update and then a few days later a minor update, and today I download the admintools folder on github am I getting the latest or the major or the minor ???

not sure if I explain my question verry well sorry

All of the latest updates are found in the github. The latest stable builds can be found here: https://github.com/g...-Tools/releases

 

It is suggested that you always follow the readme when installing a new release. Copying files does work, but many people do not do it correctly.

Man, I thought my new server file was dong great but now I have a glitch with the traders. Players try to trade & nothing, then try again and get message "Trade already in progress"

 

This is after installing new server pbo with the temp vehicle fix.

 

Always a catch.. ;)

At no point in the instructions does it say to delete any BE scripts.

 

I used to get that exact same createvehicle restriction before I figured out the filter and added it to the admin tools before I put the project on Github about a month ago. 

 

I'm guessing line #3 of your createvehicle.txt does not have !="USOrdnanceBox" inside it.

I was assuming that he meant he download all new filters before installing the tools. Such as deleting all of his, adding the new ones, and then updating to admin tools filters.

NEED HELP TESTING

 

Alright everyone. I have some new changes you may enjoy, but I need help testing before adding to the main branch.

If you are able to, please test and give me your thoughts and bugs. All help is appreciated. I also want opinions on if you like the function keys support and if you think the normal teleports should be removed or kept.

 

New Feature:

  • Function Key support. There is now a file: FunctionKeys.sqf that can be customized! The only defaultly bound keys are F1 for teleport, F2 for teleport to me, and F3 for teleport to player. F4 and F5 are taken by other files so those are not customizable at the moment. The file has information on how to customize it.

Bug Fix:

  • Teleporting no longer teleports you into the air if you are in an air vehicle with the engine off. If your engine is on it will still teleport you up to prevent tree collision.

CleanUp:

  • Deleted fix buildings (did not work correctly and there is no clean way to make it work correctly)
  • Changed file names so it is easier to navigate and edit files.
