predator mod on a dayZ server ?

Hello would it be possible to have this mod on DayZ

so players could spawn in as a predator and hunt zombies, Ai or players ?

Your players would have to download and install the mod to join your server.

 

I've tried the Pred mod & it's great. It was made with Lingor in mind. I have an Overpoch Lingor server right now & would love to have this mod running.

 

I'm not sure it is even designed for online play.

 

I'm still trying to figure out how to add snakes & Crocs to Lingor...

well the snakes are in the map editor csj-animals i think they are in 3 different types of snakes i would ave thought the croc's would be in the same location or at least in a animal dir i have looked for hours trying to find the croc's in map editor i gave up lol tried this

 

Crocodile Addon perfect for Lingor island.
Virtual crocodile module simulates crocodiles all over Lingor´s rivers
and spawn crocodiles when units enter the water.

 

I can not find Virtual crocodile module

Once again googled for hours with topics like "Virtual crocodile module" , "DayZ Virtual crocodile module" , "DayZ crocodile module"

not much out there on this 

 

And yeah im running lingor overpoch trying to get the croc's on the map would be good with the predator mod and harvest hemp as hemp was found on a default install i have not added harvest hemp yet and lingor has hemp to find without having to add a script for hemp farms random or in a fixed location

I found the Croc module under units & the Crocs were under vehicles but I haven't gotten it to work yet.

 

I tried adding module along with the buildings I added to map but it doesn't seem right.

 

I also added a Croc but it's just sitting at the bottom of water in pieces and not moving.

 

Do you know how to add a module to map?

If im reading that right would we have to add @chn_crocodile

to the command line in your server control panel GTXgaming has this option

 

And then players would they have to have -mod=@DayZLingor;@DayzOverwatch;@DayZ_Epoch;@chn_crocodile;

to connect to the server and have crocs visible to each player ???

I got the Croc module installed and it works pretty well but now I'm trying to put the snakes in my mission.sqm.

 

They go in as Civilian units but I'm not quite sure how to add this new group.

 

Maybe someone can take a look at my mission.sqm and clue me in...

If you're running Lingor, the Croc pbo is already in. It's part of the Lingor download.

 

To get Crocs to spawn you need to add the Croc module.

Hello Hux, thanks for getting back to me.

 

I am running napf, so I will need to give them a new coordinate to roam, I was thinking of setting up a prison on one of the small islands and have them and shareks patrol the perimeter so it's harder to escape. 

 

Pve server so that will be punishment rather than banning or killing.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

If you added the Croc addon to your server, anyone who wanted to join would need the same addon installed as it wouldn't just download with mission file as it does using Lingor.

 

Same thing with Predator mod.

 

Also, I think the Croc addon was made with Lingor in mind because the module uses spawn points that are specific to the inland waterways of Lingor. You would have to place Crocs in through the editor.

That's ok my players won't mind getting it, as it's only small.

 

I can change the coordinates as to where they spawn esaily enough. I just need to know where I put the files and do I extract the pbo and put it in the addons dir in the server pbo or just put the entire pbo in once I edit it?

 

Then I add those lines into the mission.sqm.

 

Is that about right?
