Alter in-game map image? Not Map itself, is this possible?

Hey guys, fairly new to Arma SQF but picking it up fairly quickly. The only thing I'm wanting to do but am unsure about is altering the in-game map image? For example I've added some roads/ buildings just south of Vybor (extending it essentially), and was wondering where the map image file is located to open and repackage it? If it's even possible? I've found nothing from googling but comon sense tells me there must a map.jpeg or similiar somewhere within a PBO or something?

It would require you to change the chernarus pbo's/ and then redistribute the map, afaik you can't do it mission side, if its even doo-able at all without the source.

Ahhh, fair enough. So very unpractical? I'll put that idea to one side then unfortunately. Thanks for the fast reply!

Unfortunately, I could be wrong but I doubt its possible.

What you said makes sense, I had a real look around and found nothing, which lead me to having to ask.

 

On an unrelated but slightly related issue, would adding new objects be the same? For simple example say cloning Canned Baked Beans, retexturing/ renaming - is that all within the chernarus PBO as well? Or is it possible mission side
