Well this was bad news... Looks like the dial home function stopped all from working for me... FIX.
 
Open notepad as Admin. (right click notepad run as admin). Then open your host file (%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) and add the following to the bottom.
 
127.0.0.1 www.ibattle.org

Or are you seriously putting attack choppers in Epoch? In that case it might be AH/BE preventing it although I guess you already tested firing the missiles and sorting the BE kicks for it.
FYI: Is the tempest truck an epoch modified version (see classnames) ? In that case it will have stuff disabled. Try a normal A3 version of the truck.

Try this; I posted the relevant snippets in there (pay attention to the BE script.txt filter later in that thread).
 
Modify the crate name, fill it with goodies, make them spawn.

Epoch devs asked about it and promised they would work on it. So in a future release we'll have it, some time.

So you want backups of your database ? Yes, of course !
The output is pretty small, don't be afraid , they are not 8Gb dumps every time, but really, really small.
 
Quick and dirty, not too much explanation needed, so here are the 2 batch files you need :
 
1] Get redis-cli.exe (provided in the redis distribution ZIP). Place it in the same folder as redis-server.exe

If you want, remove some remarks to copy the created file to another location on your network and delete the dumpfile.
 
To schedule it :
If you have command prompt access , execute these commands elevated (Execute as Administrator) :
 
cmd.exe (run as admin!)
schtasks /create /tn "redis Backup" /tr "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma3\DB\backup.cmd" /sc hourly /st 00:00 If you do not have access to the command prompt, find your way to the scheduler and put them in at your required times.
It also gives you the options to run the tasks Interactive, which will have a visible command window on your desktop.. The commands from the stuff above exectutes the tasks invisible !!

To restore (and correct me if I'm wrong, it looks plain and simple) :
 
Stop Redis, delete dump.rdb , copy the desired backupfile back to the DB folder and rename it to dump.rbd, restart Redis, done !

Redis makes a dump.rdb itself once every xx minutes, but this methode forces a timed backup of the exact time you want.

Running a server solo is becoming a job very fast, esp. if you need to admin it too, so find friends, become friendly with a mature group and work from there.

I started a new server for Epoch in the UK, I added all the scripts and such myself, got it up and running properly and it has become reasonably popular, peaked tonight at 55 out of 80. Now I think I have taken on more than I first expected, was new to Arma servers and spent a lot of time tinkering and getting it to work, learning the process, from you guys so thanks for that. I want to keep it running but it is taking up far too much of my time, I need a rethink on a few things and decide whether I want to start a community for it. If anyone had a server or knows the technicalities of setting up Arma 3 Epoch servers/and or communities and is interested in helping with this, admin wise, adding mods etc, drop me a message and we can talk.
 
Just to make it clear, I don't need help setting it up as such or establishing it, just a hand now improving it and taking an active role so I can free up some time and improve it for the people that play there.

That topic contains the first part of a good resource for learning all you want to know about editing BE filters. Visit the link in the post to make sure you get the second part as well. 

The biggest modifications would be BE folters and AH counters;
The snippets / threads you find where people actually sat down and make it work are rare for now; it will grow when Epoch gets bigger and draws more coders in. Most current coders don't like share their hard work, to grow numbers on their own servers (and I don't blame them, we're doing the same).
 
For now, if you want a specific addon / mod in, I would read the existing ones, pay detailed attention to the install instructions and work from there.

Nah, like all my users, and many "admins" here you're too lazy to actually sit down and study a manual.. Nothing comes easy, and reading manuals (and understanding them) is something you will have to learn.
Most times, when solutions are offered, the wrong ones post just the fix (which won't increase the knowledge of such admin), where the good ones actually point you to threads where you need to read and understand; in that case the stuff gets burned into your neurons and next time you run into an issue you know where to look or how to solve it.
 
Hosting a game ánd being a good admin ánd sort issues fast is never ever "point and click". It takes skills that you will have to learn. The rewards however are filled servers and compliments from players on your servers how great the server performs, and it's admins.

Each of them script releases come with the exceptions, try following the guide and you don't have these issues.
BE kicks generate a BE log file, read it and add the kick reason to the correct file, better yet don't change what you don't understand :)

Don't use BE filters for EPOCH when You run a Wasteland mission on Your server! ;)

And BE kicks are not errors! *sigh*
They indicate that BE works like intended, but that there is something wrong on the users/administrators end.
It's either how the BE filters/exceptions are (mis)configured, or something with the mission/mod that is not right (wrong scripts, usage of the wrong vehicles, etc.) or the client is cheating.

TL;DR
Instead of turning EPOCH into ArmA, go play ArmA.

BE servers are down a lot, considering the importance they bring.. if it's more then 80% uptime I would be surprised.. And yes, out of your control.
