    Just thought i'd weigh in on this.
    I don't know what @vbawol stance is on people taking donations on here for doing work, but here's my opinion
    The world works on payment for time spent on things, if you spend your hard earned time helping people, you should be able to take donations but DONT excpect them. HOWEVER.
    I have helped a lot of people on here that have paid people to set up their servers and done either a shit job or not finished the job at all.
    If you are serious in wanting to do paid work setting up peoples servers and writing scripts, you better do a bloody good job.

    Favorites bar - Players can pin (almost) any item to the bar by dragging items from inventory to equip/un-equip (Weapons, attachments, headgear, etc.) or consume (eat, drink, build etc) using keyboard mapping without having gear open.     The way these new Epoch Events are setup makes them 100% self-contained, Meaning that you can just remove the epoch_server_*_event .pbo if the feature is not desired.

    Also, I have made it so these markers only show if _debug set to true on the first line and will be disabled for the next update.

    You guys act like just because it won't be on DayZ Launcher your server will disappear. You know there is an in-game browser in Arma. Or you could do like so many in either create a launcher or use a bat file to connect.  Back in the day everybody was bitchin about not getting an update sooner. Now that you got a great update you are still bitching. Alot of the work has been done for you already. The guys did a bunch of work in their free time to bring Epoch up to the latest dayz code and implement new features and bug fixes. And calling it 106 "trash", what a fucking moron.

    I took the code and installed them on one of my servers and they do add more of a post-apocalyptic feel and harken back to DayZ dynamic wrecks. They also make players a little more careful those few times they drive on roads. 
    Probably should be configurable via the events variable in the server's EpochConfig.hpp though, for people who don't want thwm

    Hello,
    I'm Dan also known as orangesherbet- haven't been active on these forums for some time but I've been a tester and supporter of Epoch since the early days in 2012.  More importantly, I've made lasting friendships with the development team and surrounding community of Epoch Mod. With the release of version 0.5, I wanted to organize an event that would bring all of us together to celebrate the time we've spent playing, testing, and developing (I'm not a dev) the mod!
    The event itself will take place on Chernarus, where everything started!  We will have several activities for participants including a race from Kamenka debug line to NE Airfield,  a melee arena, demolition derby, "Tower of Terror" built by community developer and friend SLI, stunt contest, fishing, and base building!  
    I'll be hosting the event on my stream and Discord, but I do want to make it clear that this event is about the celebration of Epoch Mod's development and not a promotion for my stream or Discord server.  I would recommend participants join my Discord server as that is where players will be welcomed to chat with each other and the admins to help us stay organized and have fun!  Feel free to leave the Discord server at the conclusion of the event if you wish.  We do have another Epoch Event in the near future and I will share that information with everyone once we have a date set!

    EpochZ: Black Tide is now running on its own dedicated server.
    New IP: 149.56.28.85 Port 2302
    Also made some changes including the new use of hotwire kits to crack vehicle locks and base doors. These are not purchasable from the traders and a rare loot find in some Epoch loot containers. e.g. bunks, pelicans, etc.
    Other updates performed. More to come of course.
    Thanks to @RC_Robio for his advice on the choice of server provider. Much appreciated, great service from them so far!

And it seems like nobody likes to search these forums. VBAwol put a lot of time and effert into these forums. So I will be restricting things on Discord. You have to let these people do what they do. The forums at epochmod.com is where you should come first for your questions. And use the search, more then likely your question has already been answered. https://epochmod.com/forum/search/ Most questions are about third-party mods.     There will be some changes to Discord over the next week. Channels will be changed as well as permissions. If you have a specific role you will keep it on discord. (you know who you are).  There is to many random questions that can be solved by searching these forums.   
    I have made a few changes as I said I would. You may be logged out of discord as I verify users.
