Muffin Man Posted January 21, 2015 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 Hi all :) I know this is not an Epoch client issue but hopefully someone here can assist me. So I can't update Battleye. I am basically stuck in a loop of starting ARMA 2 with the Epoch mod Joining my server In the bottom left of the screen, in the classic red text, saying that my Battleye is up to date, then immediately in the next line stating that it needs to update and restarting the game to update It then opens the command prompt window to do the update, fails (states the master server is down, and that I must ensure that battleye has access to internet) and starts the game again Rinse and repeat I have tried/checked: Firewall Anti-Virus Manually updating Uninstalled BE, re-install through Steam Deleting the BE files (From my ARMA 2 and Program Files folder) and verifying files through Steam/re-installing Ensured all BE exe files have admin rights Went through the loop of trying to update for around 10 minutes (in the hope that somehow, the server responds and it updates) But nothing. TNT Posted January 21, 2015 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 yeah this is happing alot to some of my friends easy fix is download client and server .dll files from battle eye , replace and it should work here is a location that is often overlooked C:\Users\*yourUserName*\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye Muffin Man 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TNT Posted January 21, 2015 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 and this one C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye replace both and u should be set, at least till battle eye updates and u need to do this again.
