  1. I am enjoying Grahame's EpochZ immensely. However, if you are infected by the z's, after 30min you will die (animation for the 30min infection period is excellent btw). Upon death you will be shown the option to re-spawn. At that time you are promptly kicked by BattlEye for setvariable restriction #0: 04.10.2018 00:14:33: C4-timah ( 57f9a830eeb99412623ce1c3d14b7d50 - #0 "ryanzombiesinfected" = 0 2:2877 Epoch_Male_F If you are killed by the z's (beaten to death), upon your death you will also be shown a re-spawn option and then promptly kicked again for a BattlEye setvariable restriction #0: 05.10.2018 21:53:02: C4-timah ( 57f9a830eeb99412623ce1c3d14b7d50 - #0 "ryanzombiesimmunity" = false 2:17479 Epoch_Male_F Adding !"ryanzombiesinfected" = 0 or !"ryanzombiesimmunity" = false does not appear to stop the BE kick. All the other filters in the setvariable.txt all start with != which would indicates the filter must match exactly which would lead me to believe the key word that I need is something entirely different. I am using BattlEye Filter Manager to add the exceptions to the setvariable.txt. Getting kicked every time you get killed by a Z has to be annoying to theses guys and I'd rather not lose the few that are consistently playing on our server. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi This is a restriction to vehicle seat according to humanity. It may be handy to PVE servers out there. Special thanks to Juandayz with his fantastic skills and salival. Both sometimes working unseen for the benefit of this community. Step 1. Make a new file, Name it veh_hum.sqf with the below contents and put into dayz_epoch/addons folder. If you dont have addons just create one. In this example we have a hero superhero and agenthero traders with 20k/40k/60k humanity respectively. Hey guys, i have an issue with ym server it is kicking me for Create Vehicle Restriction#0 and trying to spawn me as a bird, I have looked through my create Vehicle.txt and can see the seagull part but dont know enough about coding to fix this can someone shed some light please?   5. Hello, I'm trying to get my battleye filters working. I join the server & get kicked with this message: Player Matijs kicked off by BattlEye: PublicVariable Value Restriction #48 In the public variable log file I get this: Value Restriction #48 "BIS_fnc_MP_packet" = [0,[[<NULL-object>,false],"initPlayerServer.sqf"],"bis_fnc_execvm",false,false,false] Apparently I need to look into publicvariableval.txt on line #48 (found out I needed to look 2 lines up) & this was there: 5 "BIS_fnc" I tried adding this: 5 "BIS_fnc_MP_packet" to the publicvariableval.txt but that does not work.   7. Hi guys, I had some trouble with BattlEye when UN-Lifting Cars from Helis and when taking clothes from dead bodies. Players were getting kicked with the below error: "BattlEye setpos restriction #0" With some help on the forums I found a solution to this: Stop the server... 1. Go to your Battleye folder on your server. 2. Find a file called "setpos.txt" 3. Open up the Editor and in the first line you will see a long code starting with a number (5 in my case it was). 4. Change the 5 to 1. 5. Save and Run the server again. You should no longer be getting kicked for this restriction.

  10. Hello Guys, i've posted this Question in the Nitrado Forums too but still no answers. A friend of mine (he's the Admin) and me reactivated our old nitrado dayz server. After playing a while on chernarus we've decided to try the Map Sauerland. So we re-installed the Server with Map Sauerland. Everything worked fine till we got two restrictions (BE). First one was script restriction #34: we fixed that in the script and everything was fine. Than we had the biggest problem with PUBLIC VARIABLE RESTRICTION #0: PublicVariable.LOG said: 08.01.2014 18:30:29: Shizo (blablabla) blablabla - #0 "PVDZ_plr_Login" = ["bunchOfNumbers",<NULL-object>] Server said: TIME: Player Shizo kicked off by BattlEye: PublicVariable Restriction #0 bla bla bla TIME "ERROR: Cannot Sync Character Shizo as no characterID" OK so i saw we have to add a Filter to the publicvariable.txt. We did so and nothing has changed. We've downloaded the newest BE-Filters and finally we could login in to the Map. BUT only a few Minutes later it was again the same restriction #0. After this every one was kicked when he gets on the map. Do we still have the wrong filters? (sry i really don't know which filters my friend used) I want to play sauerland and not this.....cherna sh**! We have: Dayz Mod Version 1.8.1 Epoch Nitrado Server Launching Game via DayZ Launcher We've tried it with NAPF too but had the same problems (like Sauerland). For testing we've tried Takistan (however) and a few people were able to login without problems but the Admin and I were stuck in character chose at the beginning. No Drama because we want to play Sauerland and just wanted to test the restriction failure. EDITH: forgot to say - when we were on the map/ingame for these few minutes, server said there is no one playing. Don't know if that is important. Any other solutions available?     A few issues

    Second thing is I have missions on my server, and I really dislike the default white text and wanted to make the missions display like the ones in this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJNgRQXRpwU at 25:20, not sure how I would go about doing that and I have had a look but not found anything. Also there is the creatvehicle restriction #0 which kicks a load of people right after a restart, fixed the setdamage from trying to cut wood but idk about the vehicle one. Last thing I wanted to know is if BEC is the best tool to be using for auto restarts on our new dedi Anyway, thanks guys -Luke
