    FYI OP, if you have *any* cheat engine for whatever stupid SP game you think you need it, BE will ban you, since it detect patterns in your PC memory.
     
    I have, after hosting for several years, NEVER had a false kick, because after asking further they ALWAYS had some stupid proggy in the background running so they could wallhack  Doom, Minecraft of w/e shit they played.
     
    Learn to play games without hacks, you'll improve !!!

    Swimming doesn't work.
     
    For rain to wash off soil you need to get about 60 (%) wet, then the soil starts washing off.

    Nope, there's a range from the vehicle to the trader.. So it still has to be close.. But even then, only the last driver can sell it .
     
    cars are p. much easy; boats are harder tho; the only reliable one is the Niochory (spelling?) trader at the pier.

    If the active game/server has a script to save your data when logging out, going to lobby should be perfectly fine.
     
    As I have looted something and immediately go to lobby and log back in with full gear intact, my 99%-sure hunch is "going to lobby" is enough to save your char data.
     
    I had stuff missing after a clear log off and joining a day later also (esp. the NV, it hurts) so not repeatable. Server stress / pingtime might be involved; never logout with a red or yellow chain !

    I have been swimming since the day I joined, without any issues.
     
    Today we found a jetski that I boarded by getting out of our boat and getting on the jetski as driver.
     
    The jetski's engine was broken. I "get out" and started swimming to the shore with my head clearly above water (confirmed by 2 friends). I drowned .
     
    After respawning I ran straight to water and swam again, drowning again, with my head clearly above water.
     
    Haven't tried to reproduce my death after that anymore.
     
    Server : TX01 , version 0.1.0.3 , around 21:00 CET.

    TX server has serious issues with saving player data on logout , and even worse with trying to equip weapons. I have never had issues , but both my 2 friends are not able to pick up any waepon, nor see the ones I pick up and drop in a boat for example.
     
    They also report rain (rain variable is about 0.1 for them) where I have still sunshine, and only see rain 25 minutes later.
    Trading char to char is totally broken, the only way we get things working (except weapons) is putting stuff in a cabinet and let others take it out.

    I tried the DZL today, and already had my doubts since it's the same playwith6 crap. Yes, DZC isn't optimal atm, but they dish out patch after patch so you should recall your statement that they aren't developing (which is easy to read between the lines).
     
    Epoch , when installed from the epoch website, is a folder called "@Dayz_Epoch" and not some crap version number behind it which will cause 2.7+ Gb to be written NEXT TO THE OLD VERSION every time epoch updates.
     
    KISS ! 
     
    For the moment, the playwith6crap is worse then DZC, so i stick with DZC for this moment. I mean, which self respecting programmer would call his software "awesomium" ? Maybe a 12 year old.
     
    At least I tried. And you like feedback right ? It SUCKS MORE THEN DZC.

    I booted up a 2nd server to test, took hours to show up (or due to .102) but shows , and works perfectly. (Overpoch).

    By default i just use the dayz_fuelpumparray variable from Epoch, that should work on all maps supported by Epoch:
    dayz_fuelpumparray = ["FuelPump_DZ","Land_A_FuelStation_Feed","Land_Ind_FuelStation_Feed_EP1","Land_FuelStation_Feed_PMC","FuelStation","Land_ibr_FuelStation_Feed","Land_fuelstation_army","Land_fuelstation","land_fuelstation_w","Land_benzina_schnell"]; the last one "Land_benzina_schnell" should be at least one of the gas stations on panthera.

    I'm running 2 indentical servers, 1 [panthera (fine) and 1 Taviana (headaches), where the taviana hero sells vehicles that spawn a key, but not a vehicle and generate this error :

    Running Basic epoch with safe zones and the old NPC mission system, both instances have same changes made..
    Also, some vehicles spawn just fine, just not the Vodnik for example.

    2. I run 2 instances on a hyperv machine that is a dell highend desktop; 1 maxxed out very popular Panthera server, and a less populated Taviana one; neither process ever reaches 30% CPU load.  I restart every 3 hours.
    3. This site, homepage, download the server files. Remember you also need to have the client files installed on the server (I use Commander for it) and download the bikeys. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/wb36ptxxoa3s04x/keys1.rar)

    This is where other indicators would help out such as audio prompts. For example when getting hungry the character could get stomach grumblings, when thirsty he could start panting or something (lol that would be quite funny actually), stuff like that.

    ^^ I'm colour blind, and the old icons worked far better for me then the new ones.. Not enough contrast. And yes, I have already very good and expensive glasses :)

    Well, I meant that the user having problems should go and delete the mission file in:
    C:\Users\User Name\Appdata\Local\Arma 2 OA\MPMissionCache
     
    Should be safe to clear the folder out - any server you connect to will simply re-download the mission file.

    Rather stupid thing to say. Nobody insulted you, so why do you have to come and make an ignorant statement to insult other people?
    I can see the icons just fine, but I don't like the new ones. I prefer the old ones. Also yes when the food and water start going down it's not easy to see how far from the top they are, and not to say that I can't but it's just harder. Some people play with different visual settings so I could imagine it can get pretty hard at times. Then add if people play in the dark it's a bit harder to see.

    Open the init.sqf, and find this line (Default Line 113-114) EDIT: this line is commented out by default, if you wish to use it you need to remove the '//' before the second line.

    open the dayz_code.pbo in the @DayZ_Epoch/addons folder, open compiles and copy out 'local_lights_init.sqf' and 'local_lights_tower.sqf' and place them in the 'fixes' folder in your mission folder or mission.pbo.
     
    open the 'local_lights_init.sqf' in your fixes folder and find (line 29)
    axeTowerLights = compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "\z\addons\dayz_code\compile\local_lights_tower.sqf"; Change it to:
    axeTowerLights = compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "fixes\local_lights_tower.sqf"; Open the "local_lights_tower.sqf", on the first line, change this:

Tower lights should work now. Please note I did not put the files in "fixes/compiles" so the compile location is not needed for the call of the files. Also, on my server I have the 3rd Boolean or 5th variable set to false so the tower lights come on with out generators.(there is a chance that they wont, and 100% chance if it has a generator I think)

    How many toolbelt items will be lost trying that? I've never succeeded removing a plot pole without breaking everything. Might be chance based, but meh..
     
    The technical issue is that the pole uses the Player_ID as ownerID, which is representing the last living character you have. When you die and respawn, a new ID is assigned. A workaround is hard, since you can't use the UID (the celebration edition is non-numeric) and if you would change the ID on the poles to the new ID, you need a server restart.
     
    If I could suggest something: I would create an ID in the Player_data table , and link the plot pole owner ID that, instead of the character_data table.

    You also want to run the SQL file again. It will only touch traders and object names, it will leave your player DB intact.
     
    And yes, keep your hiveext.ini, config.cfg (change version to 1025 in that), etc from the old version, or re-edit the settings.
     
    So : replace all but cfg files, run the SQL, good to go.
