This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application

Hi guys,

One of the players from my server contacted me with the below error:

 

He is able to play on other servers and everyone else is able to play on my server so this seems to be an issue only with him and my server.

Can you confirm what this is about and what I need to do so he can play again?

Had this when I was screwing around on my test sever. I had deleted the HiveExt.dll from out of my @DayZ_Epoch_Sever folder. But obviously this doesn't help you in this situation, just thought I would throw it in the for future reference of someone finding this thread.

This is only 1 player with this issue.

Had this happen once to one of my players. For some reason, their mission file got corrupted so I had them delete it to re-trigger a new download. After that, things worked fine again.

Well, I meant that the user having problems should go and delete the mission file in:

C:\Users\User Name\Appdata\Local\Arma 2 OA\MPMissionCache

 

Should be safe to clear the folder out - any server you connect to will simply re-download the mission file.
