Changing the inventorykey

Hi all.

I've searched so long for an answer to this.

I would very much like to change my inventory key to another key or mousebutton.

When I go to configuration and find "inventory" (by default i) and change it, the new button now lets me access my inventory, but does NOT let me loot e.g. a dead sapper or a trashpile.

It seems to me that the i key by default has two functions and I can only change one. This means that even though I have made it easier to look inside cabinets and such I still need to find the i key in some cases.

Set up a macro key. Make your mouse click the I key.

from what i can see in the code, then the inventory key is determined from what key you set to "gear", so it should be possible to use any other button theoreticly.

 

however some keys are blocked in epoch for some reason, so try a few diffrent ones and see if another key works propper.

 

using macro software for windows is also an option, however i am unaware if battleye will possibly register that as a cheat, wich means you could get kicked/banned on some servers.
