    How about nukes, destroying bases randomly every 7 days? Seriously, there should be more global events in Epoch. Earthquakes seem to be boring, since the loot they give are crap. But always catch me by surprise and I jump in seat :D
    I have more ideas, just today all are out of my head. Will edit post.

    Rarely you can find a server where claiming the base is allowed these days... oh the good old days of true anarchy in Epoch. Now it is all bambi mode, indestructable bases, no vehicle attack, no nothing. I would like to know the glitched area, How can it destroy a jammer? I used to glitch jammer inside the rocks on Altis (only tiny bit visible so that I could maintain it), of course, that is not fair play, so I stopped doing it. But taking over bases is fun as long as everybody plays fair (aka no satchel duping which is very easy to do) and no glitching through gates (which even I can do).

    A good UK server I play on has auto ear plugs, I find it works quite well. Is an Arma thing and, to be fair, is realism. You get into a chopper you need assistance to communicate. Cars and rain maybe not so much :)

    What happened to this great game?
     
    I remember glorious times, times when Epoch wa a real survival game. Needed several players and plenty hours of playtime to build a small base. (v 0.2x was great!) Today everything goes to hell I'm looking for some adequate server:
     
    - as much vanilla as possible
    - no stupid rules or no rules at all
    - everything destructable
    - vehicle locktime not more than 2 hours
    - nothing that makes the game easier than it should be (Blackmarket traders, virtual garages, base cams, indestructable bases and all that bullsh*t)
     
    If possible mods that make the game experience even harder:
     
    roaming AI
    hard missions
    Ryan's Zombies and Demons
     
    Nowadays all I can find are pussymode like servers with indesteructable bases and no fun at all.
     
    Please don't let Epoch starve by giving bad players a chance to survive...

    [Added] Option to pour out gas to get an empty Jerry can and a "Drink" option to poison yourself.

    Server Side Only:
    [New] EpochServer.dll/so is now statically linked to pcre3 and hredis. On Windows this means that the pcre3.dll file in the arma 3 root can now be removed. On Linux we no longer depend on libhredis and libpcre to be installed.
    [Added] Example mission file epoch_RyanZed.Tanoa that includes "RyanZombies" in the required addons array.
    [Fixed] Database logging now trims log entries via the LogLimit setting  provided in EpochServer.ini. The default is 1000 log records per list.
    Known Issues:
    Jetski and Electric Motorcycle motorcycle in-vehicle HUD will not initialize if player is spawned inside vehicle, as display getin EH did not fire.

    When crouched and trying to draw a handgun, character performs "sledge hammer behind back" animation first and then weirdly pick up a pistol. When you try to holster handgun, character gets stuck into infinite loop of putting it down on an on. You have to perform some different action in order to escape so to speak. Again, no idea if it is arma or epoch bug, so now just posting here my findings.

    I don't typically die a lot, but some missions can be brutal if you opt to have some excitement and not snipe from 1.7 km out where the Ai don't shoot back, which can then lead to a few untimely deaths lol. But in general the whole concept of having to pick your gender all the time gets a bit repetitive in comparison to about 99.9% of other games that you either have no option to even worry about or pick it once and never have to again unless you for some reason decide to be the opposite sex.

    Is there anyway to add some functionality to change the overall appearance of the group hexagon and waypoint marker? Like change colors, make them bolder etc etc...
    In talking with other players including those in my group, the vast majority (aside from those using 40 inch tv's for a monitor lol) have a horrible time trying to always locate the group hexagon or waypoint. Was hoping there might be a way to change them up to make them more visible.
    One idea I had for waypoints was when you get into a vehicle it always shows the small radar in the top center and if you place a waypoint marker it shows an arrow or small square orange box pointing to it so you always know which direction to head for that marker. Why not an option to have that same kind of small radar while on foot and have it so you can move it to where you prefer on the screen or disable it of you prefer not to see it and instead fall back to the above options to make them more visable?

    Gender selection at spawn only happens once per lifetime of your character and only takes 1 click. How often are you dying for this to annoy you? In a survival game! :)
     It's a choice given to players not admins. Implementing suggested feature is possible, but that's something for community devs to make. The spawning room will probably see some updates in future that will make more sense.

    Possible to make a server side option that can bypass having to always select your gender at spawn?  Like have it attached to your profile or something on those lines. I personally dislike the whole spawn room thing and prefer just loading right into a map, but if thats not possible then at least a way to skip that annoying step of gender selection would be a very welcome addition.

    Sorry I'm not familiar with how other mods do things, this is why I ask you guys what you want.... can barely find free time to develop mod, nevermind actually playing it or any other mods lol.
    I suppose no harm borrowing an idea or 2 from Exile since they borrowed snapping idea from SBP and hundreds of players called it unique lol.

    ah yes, of course, I meant not sitting in a car, but standing near it, open, and getting a function to sell all the inventory of the car or car plus inventory. Like in Exile :D It is one of those features in Exile that I liked.

    Also need a proximity sensor so that player can trade from vehicle. This means bulk purchasing of an item could happen to the vehicle as well as the sale of any items found in vehicle.

    Distinct and clear categories. Rifles; pistols; lmg; snipers and their corresponding ammo are clear distinct filters in trade menu. Of course this should be same for food and drink; being separate from building materials and crafted building items; with ore and metals and gems also being discrete filters as well.
    The design of the UI in my opinion works, it is the functionality of it that needs major overhaul with a clearer filter system as discussed above, but know that with the work you have already done in overhauling other parts of UI that it will be an improvement.
