    "FAK" is the only first aid classname you should use with epoch. FirstAidKit and MedKit will heal you to .25 regardless if you are below that already, and do nothing at all, respectively. Goes for those of you running the loot spawner system script as well.

    Test build Defiantly has more responsive AI, however as darth said without adding every possible variable of attachments to guns available to the AddWeaponCargo exceptions, someone will eventually get kicked. Atm I have that filter set to '3' just
    To log the catches so I can manually add each exception as the filters catches them. Pain to do but eventually I'll have the filter filled out.

    Overall good progress on this system, most well rounded mission script currently

    Not to mention you can't edit the mission.sqm now to add in static objects or game logic without breaking the spawn zone. <_<

    Meh I just don't see the point of having a billion and one servers with vanilla settings and 3 people on them. That's not really how epoch was meant to be played. It's a multi player survival game. Pvp is a huge focus and one of my favorite aspects of it. So a player less server seems like no incentive at all for forking out cash. If I want to build alone id go play mine craft. But meh you are right, it's their money.

    But yes ccg is RAPING the player base right now. Just like they back when they released their A2 overpoch hive. So many other smaller community servers went under. It's like déjà vu. It's why I've always worked so hard on making my servers as customized and unique as possible. Scripts and mods are the only thing that gives the underdogs a chance to walk with the gaints like CCG, firecock, and MGT. Those who don't take the initiative to do the same and expect to keep a vanilla server running with a stable player base on their good intentions alone are kidding themselves.

    Also why it sucks that the dev team are keeping things locked up tight for the time being. Understandable from their perspective but still cripples some of us middle class communities all the same. =p

    Please not the damn key system again. I despised  that system in overpoch. You'd have safes full of keys and a notepad with about 100 different codes, some circled and others crossed out as  alot of vehicles would get replaced by admins after bugs occurred and so forth. It was a clusterfuck system and took too much maintenance for what it was. I like the vehicle saving to group ID, we just need to make it so that if the vehicle is within the group ID's plot pole range, it becomes a perm-lock. Outside of it, it remains 30 minutes.
     
    bam. problem solved. and no stupid fucking keys to do it.

    Why not simply add a "bank atm" to spawn island and the safe zones then? problem solved.
     
     
    even if you spawn in fresh, you can still withdraw and buy yourself some gear. and its not too op with the penalty system in place for deaths.
     
     
     
    also ffs, put in some stock loot to the trader cities at least. No harm in that at all. I had to stock all my own traders which took awhile.

    Well whats annoying is that i can get AI to spawn in perfectly with the Recruit AI script i currently use on the legion server. but thats only because the unit is in the players group. I'm thinking if you were to replace the AI missions with a bunch of epoch AI it would work fine. It's just standard vanilla AI that the cleanup sqf doesn't like..
     
     
    It would be nice if one of the devs would come in here and shed some insight on this, and perhaps even possible solution. Though naturally they hate use changing the mod at all, despite how great it become because of the community in the A2 days from changes... so we won't hear shit, nor get support on this topic.
     
    Going to keep trying until i get it. There has to be way to do it without breaking their server side code..

    You guys just went apeshit before anyone had a chance to get their footing in all this. If you guys weren't in the wrong, i promise you that this many people wouldn't be so mad right now.

    ^Pretty much the same with the Legion community as well, which there was about 20+ of us that made up a fair chunk of Mell's server on the daily, prior to hosting up our own server, which is now consistently full up and promoting epoch just as much as some of these other official servers. Yet without warning, a conversation, or even a heads up on whats going on - Our server was removed from the list, and the thread locked. I think it's pretty damn childish, all because we choose to use a different AH, and admin panel when they give us the option to turn copypastakid's off to begin with. It doesn't really make much sense.
     
    They are going to tear apart their own community from the inside out, all over stubborn pride and a couple of half-cocked god complexes..

    Yes, We can't touch the server side pbo compiles or the dll. Which make this almost impossible.
     
    I've tried at least a half different methods to work around the cleanup sqf and best i could do was get them to persist for about 10 seconds, shoot at you, and the second you hit one, they all vanish. Leaving the loot and vehicles behind. 
     
    This was using the EOS system off armaholic, which im about to throw out the window with the rest of the ideas ive had.
     
     
    Frustrating to no end. Every other script ive put in works. I've even gotten the 'recruit AI' script working, that allow the AI to spawn in as long as it's in YOUR party. but if you take it out, poof, gone. Plus the AI for this script is more or less mindless. You have to command it what to do, and it's put on follow by default. My players kind of like it though, so i left it in.
     
     
    Anyways, if anyone makes any headway on this. Please do share. I'm about to throw my hands up.

    Yes I'm still using a .sqm file with missions and loot caches implemented, though with the new epoch update I'm having variable restriction errors with some of the spawning of AI on a couple of them. Still haven't gotten to really dig into it yet.  Would love to see a solid mission file written up though.

    Hopefully the mission .pbos are still going to be free game at the very least, just for small server modifications, and custom AI missions added to the sqm.. will give servers something to make them stand out from the rest a bit..

    Lol I actually propose adding in another armored amphibious vehicle to game. Not take the only current one we have out.

    Doesn't need to be the vodnik like BP uses, but the unarmed version of the Marid would be cool.

    Will likely come in handy more in other maps. Altis is mostly just one mass of land, so it wouldn't benefit much there.

    Nerfing them would make them pointless to have altogether. If any bullet could take out a tire on ANY vehicle. Then vehicles would become more of a hinderance than a lucky find. Hunter tire gets shot out with a vermin (absurd concept I know) and with this hypothetical nerfed armor, you sit there slowed and vulnerable to an easy kill shot from any Bambie with a .45. Which is mostly the case with every other vehicle in the game. The hunter can and should be the one exception to this. And it's not like servers are overflowing with them or anything. If you get lucky or work with a team to get one, more power to ya I say. As it would be in IRL.

    Taking them out would be a horribly impractical. Might as well take the bullets out of guns while we are at it. Since those with them are "op" in comparison to those who don't have them. This argument will always be from the underdog's perspective. But once you're the one privileged, these things aren't such a bad idea. Lol

    This is a survival game before a pvp game. I think people forget that. It's not based around ensuring everyone is on equal footing when firefights do occur.
