Well no use trying to test on vert01 then or at all for that matter, until a community hosted server is allowed. As vert not have the time to fix the 01 server. The devs dont seem to be bothered that their fan base in aus ans nz get left behind and put up with a brok3n server. Very dissapionted by all involved.
Such a great mod too. But I guess we just have to wait for .5 to be released till we can play/test on a decent server that is running properly and admined. Well thats if and auzzies or nz are allowed to host the game at .5

yeah deathly is a dropkick though mate, these free week ends are good as they allow server owners  (and i gueese mod dev's as well ) to see where vulnerability's lie .

saw this thread , created a video to help uploaded it( 80 kbps upload here) , made a thumb nail. came here to post it .        thread resolved and it was a color problem not a hud placing problem like i thourt it was. :/

un official are useless for bug reports as the server files may have been edited.

while these unlegit servers are no good for feed back or bug reports (due to potential unknown edits done via the server owners ) it bothers me that other testers/players are respond with things like "sigh.....wasnt a legit server so no cares about it, or its problems" i think we should be offering what info we have to help these testers , not just being like brah it's  not legit aint our problem .

for example if skaranator (legit server) went down a large amount of people would be on here asking what happened and if the server would be available for testing again , yet the second it's a nonlegit server  there is no useful feed back (like posting the link to the official server list) just people increasing there post count.

that all said if there whining well imo that's fair game to give them shit.

Many questions about the Epoch Arma 3 Launcher, I hope this clears up some questions.
 
First Step:   Download the launcher here: Click Here
 
Second Step:  Extract the files - The picture shows the Zip file on the right and how to extract using 7-Zip. The file on the left is the extracted folder.
 

 
Third Step: Open the extracted folder and click the "Setup.exe" and install
 
Fourth Step:  Click on the "Epoch Launcher.application"
 
Now that you have installed the Launcher and now have it opened it will look like this:
 

 
You will notice the Gear Cog wheel in the upper right hand corner - this is your settings. The square box will close the launcher.
 
In the settings you will see where you can select where the installation path will go, download path, speed settings and such. Be sure that the installation path is set for your rood directory folder for Arma 3. This location might be different depending on where you have Arma 3 installed. Most common place is --  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3 -- 
 
As for the download Path, you can keep it in your download folder if you would like - Please do not make the download path and installation path the same location.
 
You can also change the Max Download kb/s to 0 (zero) if you want the download to be unlimited. The Max Upload kb/s can be set as well. 
 

 
 
Once you have the settings set, you can click the download button and your download should begin:
 

 
Once the download is complete - the Launcher will begin seeding automatically. Please seed as much and as long as you can. This will allow others to receive files quicker. You can open the launcher any time and click the download button. The launcher will begin seeding if you have the current version. 
 

 
 
If you get the error "Torrent Thread Exited" - please click the download button again
 
Now you can click the install button and install the mod. Once installed - launch Arma 3 and be sure that Epoch Mod is Enabled. 
 
You can now go to multiplayer and filter servers by choosing "Mission" and putting in "Epoch Mod" - join servers and have fun. You can also join Epoch supported servers HERE
 
 
If you have any troubles with the launcher, Please check the debug box in the settings of the launcher and post the error in a new thread with your detailed issue. 
 
 
 
 
PLEASE: If you see something or wish to add something to edit in this thread - please post below. I will be watching out for new things to add to have a one stop shop for Launcher help :P

got more video ,turns out a helicopter with only 2 people really isnt that fun.





also if any one knows how to make the video's in my signature appear in a smaller window in the signature box  or how to attach a link to the video to a picture can ya pm me i just cant make it work and it look's really obnoxious at the moment. :D
