in player_build 

	_ownerID = _nearestPole getVariable ["ownerPUID","0"];

Can you check your server monitor?

 

I Dont know if the capital letter changes the variable, but that could be the issue?

	_object setVariable ["OwnerPUID", _ownerPUID, true];
// or

	_object setVariable ["ownerPUID", _ownerPUID, true];

i guess it set there with a capital O?

Nothing seams to fix it. 

 

Just back tracking seeing if something else is causing it.

Hey zupa have a question,

I try to add some new buildings that are only removable by the owner.

Thats what i did so far:

//variables.sqf added this array:

Owner_Remove =["Plastic_Pole_EP1_DZ","StorageShed_DZ","OutHouse_DZ","Wooden_shed_DZ","MetalGate_DZ","CanvasHut_DZ","WoodShack_DZ","Fence_corrugated_DZ"];
//self_action changed _ismodular to this:
_isModular = (_cursorTarget isKindOf "ModularItems") or ((typeOf _cursorTarget) in Owner_Remove);
//remove.sqf changed _ismodular to this:
_isModular = ((_obj isKindOf "ModularItems") or ((typeOf _cursorTarget) in Owner_Remove));

But everyone can deconstruct the buldings, but i only want that players who are on the plot pole list can deconstruct theese buildings.....

Do you know what i am doing wrong ?

So I added myself once i placed the plot sign, killed myself went back, i can see the 'manage plot' option, but it wont let me continue building? 

 

removing myself from the plot and adding myself again didnt help, i am still unable to build more in the area, this comes with plot for life by default right? if so what have i done wrong?

 

please help......

Hello i have no access to the "Manage Plot" Menü. I´m use this Mod and the Plot for Life Mod.

 

When i do my Steam ID in the Part of the fnselfActions.sqf then i have acces to the "Manage Plot" Menü.

 

I dont know where is the fail, my RPT is Clean.

So I added myself once i placed the plot sign, killed myself went back, i can see the 'manage plot' option, but it wont let me continue building? 

 

removing myself from the plot and adding myself again didnt help, i am still unable to build more in the area, this comes with plot for life by default right? if so what have i done wrong?

 

please help......

 

any one any ideas?

Not seeing any errors in the log, but my "friends" can tear stuff down but they can't build, here is my player_build.sqf, not sure what is going on. They will get the message that they cannot build within 125 meters of a plotpole (my range is set to 125 meters) when trying to build, but again they have no problem tearing down walls I placed. Anyone else having this? Any suggestions?

I am running a lot of mods on my server, including PP4L, Snap Pro mod, custom gui, indestructible bases, custom spawn points and many more, although those I just mentioned are probably the most pertinent.

Yea I just installed this server onto my test server, figures the first friggin script I install without a test server wrecks the damn thing.

 

Edit: Uninstalled Overpoch and reinstalled it, got stuck at wait for host, rolled back the DB to last night and got on the server just fine, then I put all of my scripts back in and it worked just fine. So it would appear that somehow it jacked up the database.

So it works and lets me carry on building more walls, floors etc even after I die, but...................

 

I have one problem when upgrading half cinder walls or wood the upgrade system isn't allowing me to do this after i die! i get message saying plot nearby unable to upgrade. I have to remove the plot and place it again to be able to upgrade my half walls... anyone having this problem?

I had this problem, it was fixed on the plot for life thread. Post 547, just test it first, I didn't get a chance. Thanks RimBlock!

This is not a problem, when u die, u must put a new one plot pole and take away old one!

After u die, plot pole not working for you! After spawn u are as new player, so plot pole dont know u!

Agree, i have  so much scripts on my server and sometimes i just broke not one but few of them when i add new one and dont test it before, and also problem to delete it, so backup allways help!!!

Check if your server monitor sets onwerPUID.

 

sometimes capitals were used, sometimes not.

 

Just set it 2 times to be sure,
