No Third Person Mode?

Changed my epoch to dayz chernarus vanilla expert mode, first person only. Gonna make it harder even with headshot only zeds and lower loot spawns, maybe.

  I think what he meant is that CoD is ONLY fps unlike ARMA which has a 3rd person option.

 

  Its not ironic, its just you arguing semantics.  It would be ironic if ARMA provided no 3rd person option.

 

Third Person shooters are almost entirely PVE experiences:

MassEffect

The Last of Us

Splinter Cell

GTA

Resident Evil

Max Payne

Dead Space

So a game that has PVP and First Person Perspective is more a First Person Shooter than it is a Third Person Shooter. Thus it is ironic he plays a game that has PVP but doesn't play games like that.

Several of the third-person shooters have pvp gameplay as well. While certainly not the focus, it's still there. I'm sure many hardcore pvp'ers still enjoy those games, regardless. The 'irony' would make more sense if pvp/pve were exclusive to a particular shooter type, which it isn't.
