    yep, your database are no saving well .. try 2 things.
    First: open your server_monitor.sqf \@DayZ_Epoch_Server\addons\dayz_server\system and change all called itentory  by inventory.
    do same in server_updateObjet.sqf located in: \epochserver\@DayZ_Epoch_Server\addons\dayz_server\compile
    note: if ure using customs server monitor and custom update objets, change your customs.
     
    2- are u set your hiveExt.ini to write in your database?
    go to serverroot\instance_11_Chernarus\ and open it.
    then find:

    1-open your classConfig.sqf and find : _publicClasses = [   then look for your US soldier.
    once you got it.. delete his ID and put someother like... CZ_Special_Forces_DES_EP1 .

    2-Now open your  custom variables.sqf
    and find:

    Or just delete the entire US soldier class... in classConfig.sqf  for not be used in game.

    Fanboys be fanboys. You wont ever change their minds or have any valuble input that will change anything significant. They have a plan and are sticking to it, to paraphrase one of the Developers. You can either do what i have began doing which is spending more time with my family and playing other light hearted games, Wait until final release or it hits the project graveyard like A2, to make your final assessment on the game. Having a negative opinion will only get you retorts like "make your own mod" "we work really hard" "trolflewofle how dare you insult the game" "thread deleted" "banned in some cases because your opinion counts as trolling" "passive aggressive threats, because you have an opinion that differs to the fanboys" The list goes on "or indeed, even being told to fuck off and die"
     
    It's okay tho bro, next patch you get a The Hobbit esque rock monster to play with.

    When you really thinking wtf is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mellow: , we are only being nice because we really like this kid, and if we are too honest it will upset alot of people like his parents for example! and that is what everyone who is left on the forum or playing epoch is! making the sapper spawn more often isn't the answer to making it epoch more of a threat kinda experience!! those creations lack creativity and imagination! sorry if it upsets some people but that's my opinion and i am sticking with it, we are in a time where animations standard is highly competitive and not just in gaming alone..the sapper looks out dated it makes zombies in A2 look good! 
     
    PS: this is a feedback from a player not a server admin! just thought I would point this out as it seems 90% of people left arguing the case of epoch are server admins and hardly play the game!

    Seconded. Apologies if this is not the correct place for feedback from players, rather than server admins. I play on SE Asia servers and have been playing for about three weeks. The other guy I usually play with is probably going to walk away from this mod for the reasons stated above. Finding anyone in my region who speaks English is really difficult...replacing him and the others we've lost is gonna be really difficult.
    I hope the devs remember this game is priced to exclude the younger casual gamers (no offense intended) and a lot of the people who play this game are doing so with a short supply of hard-whard-won free time (families, jobs, blah blah blah) and making the game a constant, punishing ordeal of unrelenting rain, stacked antagonist spawns, AI with super ESP/AIMBOT/endless ammo and endless first-aid kits, sappers with even bigger exlosions, sappers with acid attacks that kill you even after you've killed them, ladders that throw you to your death, cars that either explode for no reason or too easily (crashed into a tree/bush), dying because you logged out "too close to a wall"...cut us some damn slack, man. I get that games should be challenging...I get tired of games that are too easy.

    Maybe instead of adding content and updates that make the game an infuriating time-suck which just kills you over and over again to the point where actually PLAYING just isn't an option...put some energy into fixing the problems instead of adding more. And remember to change the mod to make it more playable and FUN...cause right now it's neither of those things.

    How about something simple like ATM's in traders? I'm gonna get a shallacking from the Fundamentalist Fanboys...but gamers do other stuff besides play Arma 3...don't make that seem like a bad option.

    Error in expression is normally a syntax mistake. Look up the command on the BIS Wiki.
    Undefined variables, well just define them, always ! Is good practice and lately Arma has started to insist on it.
    At the top of your code, or at a point in the code where you know it is the first time the engine queries that variable, define it. Even if it is just _myObjectIWillUseLater = objNull; at the start. FSM pissess and moans all the time about this.
    Also, sometime the errors aren't where the log says they are, a missing semi colon can throw a weird error several lines later, always trace back up your code if the error doesn't make sense.
    Then, there are the typos, the ones that you just can't see cos you been staring at the code for too long :)
    In your 'if actionset', I always put the not ! outside of the brackets. If !(_boolVar) then... A habit formed over time.

    So one of the admins on our community has been playing with the editor for a bit now.  Hes gotten real good and his attention to detail is amazing.
    He made this for our server, and it was so nice, i asked him if he would make a oval track around the racetrack.  He kindly allowed me to share it here with everyone to use.  The only condition we ask, is please leave the "Elite SLK" made of tires in the middle of the track :)

    There are some ambient sounds around the track, if you dont like it, search in the code for sounds and delete the block of code associated with it.
    Also.  We had custom billboards at the entrance of the racetrack.  They are commented out in this script im posting (at the bottom of the script).  You can make your own texture and uncomment them and change the paths

    In your server PBO, place the file in a folder called "objects".  If you don't have one, create the folder.
    In your server_functions.sqf add this line

    setVehicleVarName is not Multiplayer syncronized. So you might have a scope issue in there, except from the fact, that you need to make sure  the Server actually loads the file AFTER the Unit and Marker has been created.

    Has this ever been solved?  I'm having the same issue as above.  .hpp files are definitely being used but occasionally get this error.  The files that contain the classes referred to by the number do not have any syntax issues.

    What is causing this?

    With colours and audio disabled you should be able to get about 20 FPS in Arma 3 :D

    Hi y'all, 

       Go into your CFGbuilding loot folder and then open your CFGbuildingloot.sqf, then edit each building. 
            zombieChance = 1; // can range from 0 - 1, 
            minRoaming = 20; //minimum amount of zeds to spawn from or around building. 
            maxRoaming = 25; //Maximum amount of zeds to spawn from or around building.
            zombieClass[] = {"zZombie_Base","z_hunter","z_teacher"}; //you can specify skins for zombies that spawn from the specific building

    I did this while increasing the Init (max local, etc.) features to accommodate the huge flux in zombies. We had about 200 hundred spawn around us in the middle of a city. They came in waves of about 20 to 25 over 10 minutes. Note: The minRoaming and max Roaming worked best on my server under 30. "25" seemed to be the ideal number to use.

    But... Why the hell are you posting your complaints in arma2? Epoche people hardly ever come in the arma2 section, they're just not interested in it anymore. If you want attention Tag it as release and post it in the arma3 section.
    I mean no one is working on arma2 epoch. Zupa said he would do it but he hasn't made any commit for ages. If i look at the code i find half finished scripts all over the place. Did you know, that dogs actually have an attack animation? Yeah quite usefull, but they never put it in his action list so you can't use it.     But Arma 3 is no fun It suffers from a severe lack of interesting content and vehicles. What good is dayz epoch without a stupid array of vehicles you can fuck around with. RIght? Though in overpoch the seafox water target thing is my new alternative. It only holds a fraction of the coins but still has 2k gun slots and 10k mag slots and 20mil coins storage though it does constantly make you hear the ocean,
