    What is this ?
     
    A stream with teamspeak to support question about arma coding. I will give a scenario for getting some stuff done on arma 3 epocch. the basics with maybe a small addon to make.
     
    You can follow the coding yourself and ask questions on the way.
     
    We will make time for that. We prob ddon't get alot of people but at least we help a few then ^^

    So just like you changed the cfgPricing.hpp file to be mission side, you will do the same for the cfgCrafting.hpp file.

    Currently playing around with basic crafts and trying to include the EPOCHMOD's newest members, the MeleeMAUL and CrudeHatchet.

    So far I have added in crafting for 4 items and yes they play in perfect with my pricing scheme :)

     

    Nightstalker Item Scraps x3, NVG, MeleeMaul and be by the fire and (possibly adding water barrel for metal cooldown!) LRPS Item Scraps x3, Rangefinder, MeleeMaul and be by the fire Hatchet Item Scraps x3, CrudeHatchet and be by the fire Sledgehammer Item Scraps x3, MeleeMaul and be by the fireIn order to accomplish your recipes you will need to create and edit in order to accomplish it. Do some quick reading in your cfgCrafting file and I am sure you will be able to see the pattern and how it works.

    New crafts since morning: L85A2_Pink_Epoch L85A2 + PaintBase + PaintRed to encourage more water missions: SpearGun Rope + MetalScraps x2 + SpearRound and by a fire and to further my work on optics, now comes silencers Pop(Specific Pops based on price) + ScrapPelt and by a fire

    Seriously, this is a mod based on a MILITARY SIMULATOR.  If you don't like that fact, then IDK what to tell you.
     
    Oh and by the way, DayZ (which epoch was based upon) had blocked out all militarized vehicles and "too op" weapons completely by overriding their classes in the config.bin file.
     
    DayZEpoch was one of the first major DayZ mods that opened this all up for us to play with.  There was another, forget the name but it was poorly implemented.  Hell, that's one of the reasons I stuck around with epoch when it first came out.  None of the other mods allowed admins the amount of control over their own server like epoch did.
     
    So get off your high horse and try to understand that people may want to play this game a bit more differently than you do and quit trying to stifle creativity!

    Here are my relevant settings that work.

    EDIT:  Confirmed working after respawn for non-admins, including bar itself and editor menu.  No problem found on my end.

    This is a selfbooting addon inside your mission pbo with easy installation. 
    It will add a hud and hud builder on your server. Default pressing 8 for hud builder and 9 to toggle on and of.
     
     
    Future plans
    Opacity on images. More options. Saving to redis. Config to allow hud builder or to disable it Define your own keybinds.

    I have only packed the Lootspawner in a autostart Addon.

    The Lootspawner is used on 99% of the epoch server and if you have given time and hassle for configuring, and do not wish that they will be stolen. then is that the correct.

    Advantage:
    - Now lazy people can no longer view or steal your settings.
    - The Lootspawner is not more in your epoch.mission.pbo.
    - Smaller Missionfile.

    1.0      Configure the Lootspawner: (or paste your previous settings in it)
    1.1     'Lootspawner.sqf' to change the available variables as needed  (ex. spawninterval, chance of loot, categories of loot...)
    1.2     'LSlootLists.sqf' to customize the items inside the categories.
    1.3     'LSlootBuildings.sqf' to change the lootcategory of a building or add/remove buildings.

    2.0    Pack the pbo back together after configure.

    3.0    Copy the "loot_addon.pbo" into the folder "@epochhive\addons\"

    4.0    If it already exists: Remove the old LSpawner folder and everything from the LSpawner in the init.sqf (in your epoch.mission)

            And ready :-) There is nothing in the init.sqf necessary, the lootaddon starts completely alone.

    as many server admins already complained and hoped for a solution i think it would be great to place the cfgpricing.hpp into the server files to let admins be able to set their own prices and or add/remove items like additional vehicles.

    It's impossible to change any prices and trader items right now but I'm wondering if this could be changed in a future release.
     
    Some 30% of the (vanilla Arma) guns I use on my AI cannot be sold. Some non-Epoch vehicles like Armed Offroad are not available for trade either.
     
    I run @RHS mods on my server and I added lots of eastern and western wheeled transport and choppers into my AI missions but all of those HAMMERs and Mi-8s cannot be sold, only taken apart.
     
    Is there any good reason for hiding price configs in the locked part of the mod? Maybe it makes sense to expose those just like epochconfig.hpp?

    There is NO lootspawner.mas.weapons.sqf unless you make another one and also call for that sqf to launch in addition to LSlootLists . You just have to add your  mas weapons to the LSlootLists   .

    There are my try in creating ai missions, its implemented as @mod
     
    @ZEVMission Alpha 0.3
     
    1.  three Heli patrol on the whole map (heli + m249)
    2.  one Convoy mission  across all map (from left side to right)
    3.  one usual mission "communication center"  (static weapons, AI patrol around mission, vehicle patrol around mission)
    4.  six area security static missions into the towns (town AI patrol , they are going around the city and check every building for enemy)
