    Not to piss on anyones parade here, but they arent doing a better job of their menu compared to the other fellow. A half wit with a single brain cell could see that ;) I wish they were, but they really arent ;)

    Edited because i should really take my own advice, trying to rationalise anything with you is similar to banging a head against a brick wall.

    You are wasting your time trying to rationalise yourself to this guy ;)
     
    What he fails to say, is that there are plenty populated modded servers that are jammed full most of the time. ;) This was the case in A2 and it WILL be the case in A3. Yet his server isn't as populated as he'd hoped it would be, maybe thats why he rails on anything non vanilla, idk, to be honest I don't care either.
     
    Everyone has their own ideas on what makes a good server, Players will make up their own minds on what type of game they play. Haters gonna hate.  Don't ever justify yourself to others about your server ;)  Best bet is when someone begins making snidey comments on servers not being vanilla blah blah, is to chin them off ;) AS I'm sure they do that with the opposite side of the arguement.
     
    You'll find plenty Modded servers busy.
    You'll find plenty Vanilla servers busy.
    You'll find plenty Hardcore servers Empty.

    I agree to an extent. I think variations in the servers help create slightly different experiences and helps define a good variety in options for the players, the modifications in play or style are why I got a PC 6 months ago. Hell if all the servers where the same then why would epoch not just host their own servers so that nothing ever goes wrong with the game and you have official no changes allowed servers. 
     
    ( not a dig at you or anyone who keeps it vanilla) but the idea of PC from what I was sold by countless friends is the customization of servers, games and even characters. 
     
     
    We (try as we might) want to keep it as close to normal as we can. So the addition of 2-3 Armed pickups and some AI missions (for players when the server is empty is enough for us and will stay that way until the Devs put in AI missions (from what I have heard they are coming) 
     
    At the end of the day, it's down to play preference and what your community wants. we are a community starting from scratch and all we want is a solid base of like minded players that enjoy a laugh as much as we do. Without something to differentiate your server from the others then there is no point in having a server xD

    This will be in no particular order. Just as they come to mind.

    No life regen of any kind. There should be some if you're at or near full hunger. Shelf storage is too low. Unable to move shelves once placed. Lockboxes are unbelievably rare. Lockbox storage is too low. Multitool heal rarely works and is near pointless. Multitool revive rarely works. Multitool fix heli doesn't work. One life rule is stupid, and never accurately works and just auto respawns you. Krypto values on items is strangely different. Ex: All helis cost the same...? World Limit. Fire places can't be placed where you want or be moved. Need more NPC related events. Traders get stuck inside buildings if you brush up against them. Clothing is rare. Too rare. It's easier to find a .50 rifle than some underwear. Krypto almost never can be picked up. If you die on wood, gg krypto. Debug menu is ugly. Needs to be reworked and pretty. Half of info seems useless. Vehicles seem slightly too rare. Bikes anyone? More methods of healing yourself are needed. Weapon sway from having 0.01 damage makes me want to punch a baby. Some sort of option to combine magazines is needed. I hate to admit it, but general chat is needed until mod is in a steady state. Sledge hammers take up too much space for what little value they provide. Some sort of option to combine energy packs. Basically anything that has a value should be combinable. Jammers can't be moved once placed. Base Building
    Base building is frustratingly wrong and broken. Here's why- Physics is the worst idea I've seen and is such a hassle it would probably be the reason I quit this game. Base building on anything other than a perfectly flat surface will result in you wanting to kill yourself. Snap building never snaps to what you want it to. Snap building will kill you and your friends more than players will. Snap building will allow you to visit space. Ramp sizes are too small compared to walls. Walls of all type should be same size to allow better snapping and placement. All walls should snap together. All building structures should snap together in a way you'd like. Upgraded wood walls into sheet metal allow you vision into bases from holes in floor. The prop you're about to grab/grabbing should glow a distinct color to verify what you're grabbing. I'll add more to this as they come. Add more if you like.

    Edit:
    Group inviting/kicking from a leader point doesn't work. People have to manually leave, (if that works) and sometimes bugs out and you'll have two of the same person in group. With the buggy group system, the price of upgrading is incredibly high. ATMs can be difficult to find outside of grocery store. Make more noticeable. Base maintaining should tell you how many items you have within range, and how long until you lose them. Currently, glitching into a base is very easy. Won't get into details how, but the metal walls are both too thin and too weak when shot through or blown up. Cinder walls take only a vehicle to blow through, effectively making them useless when compared to metal/wood. Explosives are far too common and makes having a base arguably pointless. Top it of with vehicles doing more damage than bombs, base security when offline is slim to none.

    Files: \buildings\ mainbase.sqf > Main file being called. \init\ fn_init.sqf > File calling the mainbase.sqf from the location. \root\ config.cpp > File that initializes SERVER pbo configurations. PboPrefix.txt Quality check to ensure that the files are being called. Thanks to Devs for making an awesome game!

    Will Namalsk get any love from the devs as it isn't included in the AiA pack?
    I know its as easy as running @Namalsk_lite alongside AiA I just hope it gets supported.
     
    And yes I know there is other topics about people going on about namalsk (MGT saying he's working on it etc) Just would like to know if it will get official love.

    Well, the OP already took this road "Almost everyone has a problem with "KoS" (Kill on Sight) players."
     
    Newsflash: "Almost everyone" most likely doesn't have a problem with KoS, a certain group of people probably does. Personally i'm not sure how big this group is but from playing DayZ for years I can safely assume that KoS is the more common playstyle.
