ImSoEnigma
I think whoever does it will have to edit the map pretty hard for it, was my favorite Epoch map for Arma 2.
carl101
Don't think any arma 2 maps will be getting ported over for some time.
nedfox
It's going to take some time indeed.. I've seen ported maps but they're crap.. Coders will have to write from scratch to use all the neat Arma3 content.
Havoc302
Yeah I've tried New Haven on Breaking Point and it's buggy, laggy and horrible, the FPS randomly drops on and off and the buildings kill you constantly, stairs are the worst. Pretty buggy has missing textures here and there, advance flying doesn't work choppers go mental and spin like crazy. Sound effects + objects at object a2 missing (fixed that already easily) And a whole lot more more then likely. Edit>>> Textures are working fine the pack I was using was missing a load of assets. Advance flying is still messed up :/

hobobandit
These two addons should make it already possible to load Namalsk into A3: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?182072-All-in-Arma-Terrain-Pack-%28AiA-TP%29-A1-A2-OA-terrains-from-BI-in-A3 This the terrain pack with Arma 2 default maps. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?182032-ASCZ-A2-Community-Map-Fixes-%28for-AIA-TP-SA%29 This a pack that has fixes for some of the Arma 2 comminity made maps, including Namalsk. I haven't tested it. Third addon you need is the Namalsk map itself, it probably needs to be loaded before the map fixes. MGT, how big is the file size of your addon? If it is a single download, some A2 assets must be included in it? Great job anyway. :) MGT

TayTayTheKiller
So Panthera just came out for arma 3 and requires AiA pack even tho was just updated/made for arma 3 specifically. Looking like it would be easier just to get people to download AiA alongside Namalsk light instead of trying to make a single pack? I'm guessing people will be wanting to port the other maps in the pack anyways? It would be as simple as adding one extra mod to the start up perimeters "-mod=@epoch;@AiA" for all the extra A2 maps +A3 Panthera because you can just dump Namalsk light and Panthera in the AiA addons folder anyways. (Forgot the default AiA folder name as I renamed mine.) Edit>> Just remembered you would need verify signatures off to mash it all together in the one folder. drsubo
Only problem is devas are not allowing changing of the server files and from the sound of it mission files either. I am super bummed about this cuts people like you can make an do some awesome things with this.
Tobias Solem
Personally I'm pretty happy with a more restricted license. Everyone being a mod-chef usually results in 99 terrible adaptations out of a hundred. Makes it a lot harder for people to find a decent server that doesn't have a bunch of shit thrown on it because the owners "got creative". For the 1 in a hundred that knows their stuff, yeah it's pretty sad, but a lot of that can probably suggested for the developers to have it in the vanilla mod. A lot of stuff is going to happen that are in the plans, like the Epoch we're playing right now isn't representative of the final product, just look at the loot tables for example, they're definitely going to be re-vamped already with the next patch when they add more of their own weapons, the added variety itself will mean more weapon diversity and less "Oh clone #50 with a Lynx".
