Jmay Onzo
Not a bug read the patch notes you get hungry and thirsty more often but filling jars with water makes this easy to adjust to
Mondialo2k
I hear you, Shadow. You get thirsty too quickly for how many drinks you find in the world. 0.1.0.3 to 0.2 thirst levels have gone from one extreme to the other. Thirst levels somewhere inbetween would be nice. RIE_JACKTE(new)
wal no , you have to scavenge for drinks to survive in a survial genre based mod , the horror
nimh
Get an empty jar (squish trash), go to a water spout (courtyards of cities) or find a blue barrel with water in it (not sand), double click on empty jar in inventory, craft new jar with water in it (must be near water source), cheers to your health! Hazmat
I was in BFE, and down to 300 on thirst and hunger. I ditched all my gear in a tipi anticipating a quick death upon reaching zero thirst/hunger. I went double zero, then watched my damage meter start to grow. It stopped at .047...never went beyond that...kept moving to nearest town..at least a 10 minute run. Also, noticed your fatigue level grows rapidly when you're at zero. Finally got to a town, but couldn't find any drinks til another 10 or so minutes later scavenging like a lunatic, then whammo...find Orange Sherbert and an empty jar...I was back in action. Oddly enough, kept finding more empty jars and soda thereafter. Anyway, looks like you can run on empty for a bit. YMMV.
TacticalTortoise
Currently in 0.2 it seems you only need to drink ONCE every 2-3 hours of game time to not ever have to worry about it. if you cant find an empty jar+water/drinks in that time your doing something Very very wrong. Thirst and Hunger rates are near perfect IMO. and food/water is easy enough to find/buy from vendors. pre 0.2 you could go 6 hours or more before needing to drink anything.... hunger is even less of an issue. OP is silly. the 0.2 changes are a massive improvement on balance.Love the new masks please keep up the good work (and fix the frequency jammers, and multigun revive issues)
DeVloek
Seems like the heavier the gear you got, the quicker you become thirsty. Is this impression correct? Anyway, I guess OP just walked 10 meters, did the math and then posted the result  I don't know what it was like in versions before 0.2, but to me thirst seems pretty much realistic. Nic
The devs said at one point that the thirst and hunger dropped at the same rate even if you were running, walking, etc., but they are going to change that so you use more when you are running vs walking. I'm not sure if your weight affects the thirst rate, but that would be a good addition.
