[Release] Advanced Trading 2.1 !UPDATED!

Hi guys, noticed something yesterday, When trying to buy from trader and send stuff to MTVR we got a message saying theres not enough room in MTVR. The MTVR was empty of items but was containing 1 backpack. Take out the backpack from MTVR and the advance trade was working.

 

Is this normal or it some kind of protection? maybe comming from a duping script i have? 

 

I've had it say that also will have to try and remove the backpacks to see if that cures it.

 

One other little bug I have is that when selling to the gun vendor from a backpack or vehicle that after moving a couple items into the sell column it will reset itself like it reopens the interface. It only does it once per opening then everything works fine after that.

Yes that is what I say, it works normally when you remove the backpack (s) from the vehicule

If you have no rpt errors, you probably didn't add the exception to infistar.

Sorry for the late reply. I actually do have the exception in Infistar as well. Any other ideas as to why it would be causing the issue? My rpt:

That's because the trader uses the same skin. We need to build in a check if the target is not a player in the selfactions. ( also with normal trading an issue i guess then since it's placed in the same check°.

 

So would I need to just remove the player skin so that the option doesn't become available zupa?

You need to add an extra check in selfactions

alright got it .. but where would i put it ?

 

i know i have one in my ZSC/compiles (when i added the coin script) shouldi be using that one ?

No clue, I personally hate the coin script (setting it up with other scripts, I love the idea of it though). I've never been able to get coins working with anything else other than infistar. I can't help ya there.

I believe and am most certain that it goes into a folder that you customly make. (mine is called custom) this folder goes in your MpMissions-> Chernarus/Map

 

Then you put your fn_SelfActions in that folder and change the paths

Coding is not that hard. Big problems mostly have the easiest solutions.

You can only have 1 selfactions.

 

Basically, every file You are going to customise you need to extract it from the dayz pbo's or wherever they are originally located.

Then u can edit them how you like. Be sure to make your own compiles to point to your new file of course.

 

Single currency provide you with this already. So you just need to edit inside that file and you are ok.

 

I don't include this information in the install notes since it's basic server knowledge ( Like really really really basic :p) .

Yes that is what I say, it works normally when you remove the backpack (s) from the vehicule

 

I need to look into it. I haven't had much time yet to do anything decent on my pc. (Typing this from my job)

It's not tested. But it's default Epoch functionality which i hadn't implemented.

 

It should work, so feel free to test it.

Hello Zupa,

Was curious if you made any headway with the issue of the advanced trader glitching briefcases into people's inventories instead of taking away. I had it happen to myself by going to the Hero trader and purchasing DMR mags, every time i would buy more than one dmr mag it would give me the mags plus throw 5 briefs in my main inventory. Gold briefcases, not silver. My admin bought a Hk417 SD sniper and it put 35 briefcases into his inventory, and then he bought some mags for it and it put another 35 briefcases. Theres no error that I see in any report, and when it completes the trade the text is displayed in coins even though I dont have coins enabled. It says 'You paid 30000 for x amount of items'. Please help, this is kind of a big issue and I'd really like to get a fix for it. I caught another player exploiting the issue and then when asked how he did it he logged real quick so i had to ban him.

I have it installed correctly not showing any errors in client or server side, my trade window opens up you can select gear , bag , vehicle. and it shows them all in the little pic on right but in bottom left inventory window or the buying window, no items show up at all the numbers seem to be off on the bag count as well , i'm running Infistar and the allowed dialog is see properly and all scripts are written correctly no errors show in client or server reports,

I'm Running Default currency on Dayz Epoch server,

Anyone have an idea why no items show up to sell or buy? i've gone over the script and layouts over and over and just can't find any mistakes.

 

i believe it would probably better to say it's not retrieving the trader data.. am i correct on that assumstion?

So there probably is a fix for this already been posted but i can not find it aha. I'm having similar issues, all of the admins can use it and it will show everything that is being sold but when any other person tries, it will not display anything like in the pics. even when trying to sell, it will say i accept x amount of items from your gear but doesn't show them aha. Anyone pls help

      For some reason when i spawn in and collect coins or loadout the next time i disconnect and come back it puts me back into spawn and money is all disappeared. 

      There's no hive errors.
      The only error in the Server RPT is :
      And I have 2 errors in my client RPT. Looks like they relate to zsc but I have reinstalled it from scratch and still the same.

      I have an overpoch Sauerland server. The vehicle traders are not spawning when you buy. The SOB takes your money and gives you a key, but no vehicle.  The arrow comes up for about 12 seconds.  After the restart, they are there, all on top of each other.
      NO, I do not have infistar installed.  It brakes the server. No admin tools at all.
      Here are my server and client RPTs. Can someone please take a look for me?
