Epochs table structure has all buildables and vehicles in one table. The server monitor streams them in chronologically. If the vehicle was bought after the base was built it should be fine, although maintenance may change the object ID to a later one

I do not intend to compete with SA and will leave dayzepoch as is after SA is released. The plan is to make a new mod for ArmA 3 using everything we have learned from making dayzepoch. It will not be based on dayz and will be our own creation made 100% from scratch. Doing this will take some time and we are not in any rush to release anything soon. After SA is released and things die down a bit, keep your eyes and ears open for Epoch for ArmA 3.

Permanent bases, no maintenance, supply drops, tradable mortar / cinder / metal panels (this one just in the past 3 days), increased building limit etc.

Nice work, the Uaz van and jeep look nice; there's a trick to help the Suv look a little better.  I know it's difficult because it's using a completely mirrored UV for the frame, making more detailed textures stick out in a negative way.  Feel free to hop on the epoch team-speak at some point if you'd like to chat more.

We would love to see something like this. You should commit it to the github.

Epoch is using a highly modified version of DayZ. Refilling ammo is the case for right now and might be fixed within the next few patches.

We are adding localization to the next patch 1.0.3 and would like to ask some of you multilingual people for some assistance in translating strings. 
The best way to do this is via github and pull requests, if anyone wants to help with this and just needs help getting started you can reply to this post.

The short grass was done to help boost performance, and it is a noticeable difference. So that's a weighing factor you might consider. There is a different thread open about the dust clouds.

Love the work gents, great job !

This is our current base, situated on the farm land between Cherno and Balota on a Chernarus Epoch server. It's my third base and was built in partnership with Mada. 
The facility is built in a 5x5-3x3-5x5-3x3-5x5 layout (ground floor is double high) It has ground and roof chopper pens with all walls double layered for protection (we have several groups who crack bases with .50 Cal) It is managed by 8 locked small and garage doors with a central mezzanine area on the ground floor and a viewing platform on the roof with scenic views of Cherno and the coast.  It was planned in detail before we started and took 2-3 weeks to complete with countless hard earned briefcases of gold spent. On our server Cinder and Mortar are available to purchase for 4 Silver at traders and Metal Panels are 3 Gold each. The server is full on PVP andthe building was completed under constant never ending threat of attack. I was shot at many times while laying walls, was even killed 2-3 times in the process.  We're pretty much finished now, with only a few patches of wood floors to chop out and replace with metal where there are some slim gaps in the floor due to the sizing disparity between cinder and flooring.

Btw, im just being a realist, if your rig can't handle the game, then what's the common sense thing to do? Upgrade your rig or demand the devs downgrade the game so you dont have to upgrade? This is pc gaming, its the nature of the beast that you'll have to upgrade eventually to keep up with gaming.

I gotta give some props to the Epoch devs here.  i haven't been playing Epoch for that long (about 4 months playing, 2 months running a server), but I just can't get over how awesome it is that the devs promote user innovations to the mod and then give credit at each update (changelogs).  IMO, this bodes very well for the long term future of Epoch.  Kudos to the devs and all of the valuable contributors that have made this mod so popular.
