I got it running on my test server after changing the port and added the addon folder from arma 2 to the test server root.

One other problem is I tried to update the data base with the 106 sql update. It keeps telling me it was unsuccessful.

So, the server once again re-created and followed the instructions exactly. (Except for the steps where the newer software comes into play). The error remains the same.

Make sure you are using all the .dll files from the 1.6 server package.  Also check that those .dll's are not blocked. Right click on each and check.

I use the new .dll files from the package and they aren't blocked. But thanks for the tip @RC_RobioCan I find the required .dll files also somewhere outside of the server file pack and download?

Hm ok. I would say the packs hafe "mistakes", but I played on server with tese Epoch versions. I can create A2 Epoch Server with Epoch 1.0.5.1 as much as I want. They work fine but with Epoch 1.0.6 he don't want. And yes, for Epoch 1.0.5.1 I use the files and .sql files from 1.0.5.1 Pack and for Epoch 1.0.6 from the 1.0.6 pack. I can cry...:unsure::angry:

You can do this using notepad Reg expressions.

I think @ebaydayz shared a compactor script that you could use, unsure where it was posted though.

Anyone know how to use this update with a custom map such as tavi? 

 

Cherno working no problem but the minute i add tavi i get instantly kicked from the server the second i click join. @Taviana loaded server and client side 

 

No errors in RPT log. client side is "You were kicked from the game"

you have to put the keys for taviana on your server

Have question, I was looking at the database for my epoch106 server and noticed that there was a column that said coin and another that i think said storage_coin or something like that. Does 106a have coin preinstalled?

No, the hive has coin support by default. There is no SQF portion for coins, however.

Done that, Tried the ones included in the server files package and also tried some others. No joy im just instantly kicked from the server :( 

 

Update: I decided to disable signature checks as it was grinding my gears, Now a new error pictured below. That file does exist both server and client side and all contents checked that they all match.

 

Both my client and my server crashes with that error. Maps that require @ addons such as tavi dont work with this update? I have also tried with namalsk and have the same issues

Have all my custom Traders on Chernruas. One problem, Out of all the traders I have 5 traders that were set on raised floors.  I can not get them to raise up, they stay on the ground no matter what I do to the Z cord. Their height ranges from about 15cm to 3m   e.g. one trader should be 2292.8381, 15318.697, 1.8458486 but stays at 2292.8381, 15318.697, 0.00201416

Any thoughts?

This is only my opinion. You guys are doing some great work with Epoch. With that being said, I have to say that the NE Runway is not straight and it is short. I have included two pictures from both ends with my runway over top of yours.  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/487376647/ne_airfield.jpg  

You can see on the east end how short and crooked it is. I know why it was laid out that way.  You matched it up with the tarmac at the hangers. I do like what you did with the building on the south west end.

As you can see I was able to match my tarmac with your entrances on the south west add-ons.

 So here is my offer, use my runway as is or I can edit it to remove some of the tarmacs on the north and south of the runway. Just a thought.

Over the last 3+ years I have made over 200 add-ons, on many maps that were epoch ranging from 22 AI Cities, placing building in cities, building donor bases, creating towns and much more.

With almost 5000 hours I have never complained about any map add-on to you guys, but I have OCD when it comes to laying out objects. Lol  Please don’t take this the wrong way, only trying to help.
