HellWalker Posted June 29, 2014 Report Share Posted June 29, 2014 I was testing my server and activate the default epoch parachute in 1.0.5.1 If i open the parachute when i'm very high on the sky, there is no problem, but if i let the player get closer to the ground (still in a safe range to open the parachute) the player gets killed instantly. Creep Posted August 23, 2014 Report Share Posted August 23, 2014 Yep I can confirm that there is a problem with that sometimes I dont know if the cause is 100% right: First respawn after serverrestart, if character was living the serverrestart before.. Achmed Posted August 25, 2014 Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 definitely a bug somewhere with this as you could open your parachute at 500m and be killed instantly. respawn and open it again at 500m (obviously wont be exactly the same hight) and it would let you open it fine and parachute to the ground with out a problem. Well.. long time i don't play to see this bug again.. but when i was testing.. It had nothing to do with the speed. First time, diving too fast, open the chute and died... Second, third, etc.. Divind as fast as the first time, open chute even closer to the ground, nothing happens... So.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This paraspawn script is built into epoch as well, not something I added. It only kills new players when they spawn on the server for the first time. So strange.
