  1. I'm actually OK with the current fatigue system/settings.

     

    You build up Stamina over time. I played a character for 6'ish hours before getting run over by my "friend" and had 550 Stamina. Not sure if there is a max limit or not, but I didn't have too many problems with fatigue.

  2. I'm just curious as to why the devs decided to include DLC vehicles in the allowedVehiclesList, and have them spawn?

     

    Pros:

    • Wider variety of vehicles in the game

    Cons:

    • Not an equal playing field for players (some have access to vehicles, while others don't)
    • Can't even ride as passenger
    • Ambush a player with a DLC vehicle and you can't even take it
    • Forcing players to buy the DLC's to take full advantage of the game

    For me the Cons well outweigh the Pros. I don't think that DLC vehicles should be included in the dynamic spawn table. It's just not fair to those that don't have the DLC, and don't intend on buying them.

  3. I have been digging, and hunting through every file I can think of in the server release trying to find where to adjust the loot spawn rates. I don't want to make it ridiculously high, but higher than it is now. Right now it's dreadful. I'll spend 30 minutes in a large town or military complex and find barely anything.

     

    Last night 4 of us were running together in Athira, we were looting residential buildings trying to find food and drink. We ran around that town for about 30-40 minutes and had barely anything to show for it. Worst of all, only 2 cans of food, and no drinks. This was also directly after a server restart. I find it hard to believe that the loot is spawning as intended.

     

    We had several players join the server during this time, and a good portion of them complained about not being able to find loot, then left the server. As a dedicated server host, this is a nightmare. If multiple players are all complaining about the same thing, and I've seen other posts on the forums here complaining about low loot spawn, then there must be a problem.

     

    I see servers that have advertised higher loot spawn in their server name, I'd really like to know how they did this so I can rectify the issue. It really detracts from the game when you put a lot of effort in to trying to find things, but nothing is showing up. It also really discourages new players because they can't find anything.

  4. I noticed last night in 0.2.5 that my thirst was being depleated very quickly compared to food, and cans of pop were only giving 300 each time. The Red Gull gave me 500, but I was always feeling like I was scrambling to find drink.

  5. Still an insane lack of AI to be honest. Low pop servers are boring as hell the fps is nice but the gameplay is boring as there is a huge lack of threats.

    What you need to do is pick a server and stick with it. As more people do this it'll become more popular, and therefore busier and more entertaining.

    That's not how you comment out a line in an XML file. Use # instead. Also, this option must be set. Use the .exe filename you use to start the server. Eg: arma3server.exe

  7. Ok so serve ris up and running with np. Only way for to join is via ingame browser because my server is not showing up on the A3 Launcher even after refreshing it. Any reason it wouldn't be showing up?

    Took about an hour for my server to show up in A3 Launcher.

  8. cultists only come out at night and AI soldiers only spawn if the drone spots you before you kill it

    What's the spot time on the drone?

     

    How exposed do you need to be in order to be spotted?

     

    Is there any indication given that you've been spotted by the drone?

     

    Does day/night affect the drones ability to spot you?

     

    If spotted, does that mean AI will descend on your location?

  9. This is the kind of feedback we needed about a month ago... Something tells me you guys are not looting everything you can. All antagonists are event driven and require you to loot.

     

     

    Keep the feedback coming, we need more feedback on this and will likely add features to allow some control over the chances AI will spawn.

    There were 2 of us on the server for about 4 hours last night. Looted everything we could.
