I had to work 8 hours yesterday.
Unless I hit something I can't test, or a major error, I should have a working version sometime today.
The Alpha will go to a few testers and then the first version will go up on the Github.

Nice work Vamp! Keep it up, this thing works pretty decent on my server.. :) though I'm pretty sure my servers overkill now, had to turn some AI missions off, had like several Loaded up :) if yea need help at all i would be glad, did alot of help with our friends in arma 2 :) and DZMS.. good Ol days :) anyhow thanks for this work..

The "allowDamage false" has been an infuriating issue to fix due to the problems it causes to AI addons. It only prevents damage caused by server sources (ie: AI spawned by server) but not damage caused by players. There isn't any server-spawned AI in vanilla Epoch so it's strange why allowDamage is needed. If it's to prevent damage to the player unit between the time it's created on the server and transferred to the player's control, then "allowDamage true" needs to be invoked on the player unit once the transfer is complete.
At the moment I'm using a constant server-side loop to apply a one-time "allowDamage true" to each connecting player to allow server-sourced damage but this not an optimal solution. Using a stacked onPlayerConnected eventhandler to apply "allowDamage true" once to each connecting player could have been an easy workaround but Epoch's use of the old non-stacked onPlayerConnected EH prevents this.

The base code for VEMF should now be complete. Over the next few days I'm going to get it error-free.
Once I have the bugs worked out I'll get an Alpha version ready.

Found the problem I had with the functions. It was some incorrect switch brackets that was causing it.
I decided to stick the functions file in Squint before giving up on it.
Now it's back on to the regularly scheduled bugfixing.

Think most users on the forum here have been a big user of DZMS at one point when running Epoch/Overpoch servers... If you need more test servers to work through bugs, let me know. :D

- What is VEMF? -
VEMF is the Spiritual Successor to DZMS.
VEMF Stands for Vampire's Epoch Mission Framework.
VEMF is going to be a mission system designed specifically for Arma 3: Epoch.
- How is VEMF different from DZMS? -
VEMF is being designed to be a Mission Framework.
VEMF will be more modular than DZMS allowing anyone to easily create an "Addon" for it.
VEMF will not be a "fetch the box" mission system, it will be much much broader;
A-B, Multiple Ending, Vehicle Convoys, Vehicle Capture, Manhunts, Investigation/Exploration, and more!
VEMF will run entirely on the server side, in a server-side PBO.
- When Will it be Done? -
VEMF is still a work in progress.
The current version is WIP.

If you set it to 60 then the loot will sit there until the server cleans it up for a player not being nearby, or the player sits there an hour.
At default it is set to 10minutes.
Setting it lower will make loot respawn faster.
