Chernarus Secret Airfield

Hi 

 

Built a secret military airfield up north of devils castle(location on pic), C130 can barely take off from it going south and doing a hard right at the end.

Place it in your server pbo

 

Create a folder called building and put the sqf file in there,

then open the init and edit the server_functions.sqf by adding this to the bottom








[] ExecVM "\z\addons\dayz_server\building\Secret_Airfield.sqf";

Edit your Mission.sqm file to look like this

Is there anyway to have the files so I can port it to Napf?

What file? looking at trying other maps so cud make fresh one there if i have map n u have location for it?

 

What is the name of the tower thing in editor also this is really nice

tv tower? top 3 in the code = that

After downloading the file, where do I place it? Do I need to rename it to anything?

for people looking to install this i do this 

 

1.unpack your mission folder

2. in the roue folder where your init.sqf and other files are create a new folder called buildings

3. create a new .sqf called chernarussecretairfield.sqf

4. go back to your init.sqf file and open this 

5. go to the VERY BOTTOM and paste [] execVM "buildings\chernarussecretairfield.sqf.";

 

This should work

Currently receiving an error that is broadcasted to all players upon log in that a file cannot be played/downloaded because it is dependent on downloadable content, and it only lists "warehouse" do you know which object this is so I may delete it/solve the problem? I really love this airfield.

edit: I found the object, it's class name is, "Land_Ind_Pec_03a"

Sadly, this is found in the PMC DLC as far as I can tell - however, this building arguably makes that area, and I'll struggle to find a replacement for it, unless of course, there is a work around.

all building used on this isnt from the latest building so aint from this thats causing it to fix it jst go into in mission.sqm file at start change it to this,

Still having trouble Where do I put  this. I put it into my folder but knockes me out ever time I log on

then crashes the server after knock out

I tried this but still does not show up in game! And no errors are seen

I am new at doing Epoch Arma2   So I might have something messed up...but it looks easy enough!

One thing that is diff. 

Folder setup is diff from what I am used to. 

  Using vilayer.com as a provider. they have to section for folders setup....

1st is in vilayercodecustom/dayz_epoch

and

2nd in vilayercodecustom/missions/epoch.chernarus (this folder holds my init.sqf file)  and this is where i placed the folder and file

 

 

Redid it a sec time, Its working thanks Guys

should be put into server pbo the building folder and the call should be in the server pbo init at the bottom

call compile preProcessFileLineNumbers "\z\addons\dayz_server\buildings\Secret_Airfield.sqf";

Your custom edition seems to be calling other arma mods than the ones you mention in previous posts, my friends server crashed after following all your instructions even the part with the update to the mission.sqm (not mission.sqf) .. If you're going to release custom editions you should really let people know whether they need to make changes elsewhere. My mates server was down for 2 hours while he waited on his provider to fix it.  

 

I can't remember the other missing mod error, but it was something to do with airfields..
