Removing hero missions on server

Hey, first post here.

 

How on earth do I disable hero missions ? Or any missions for that matter, i looked in the servers.pbo but, I'm not able to find anything.

you should, this is the latest WAI code patched by @ebayshopper who i think is @ebaydayz ?

going to assume you are using WAI so look in the /wai/config.sqf for         

wai_hero_limit                = 4;                                // define how many hero missions can run at once
wai_bandit_limit            = 0;                                // define how many bandit missions can run at once

hero missions are actually missions FOR heros. not missions with hero ai.

But its not there, and this has been removed, cant see the bandits missions either ?

Could it hide inside phpmyadmin or something ?
Or do you have another suggestion on where to look ?

You have an old version of WAI, that is all. The mission spawn amount was added in later.  You will need to update it to the latest version, depending on if you are running 1.0.5.1 or 1.0.6

We are running 1.0.5.1. 

But some other admin removed this hero missions. And im not able to find these hero and bandit settings in the pbo. 

Should i copy that file and replace it?

The only place to change the amount of missions is the WAI config file. 

Delete your entire WAI folder and install this version.  You can then change the amount of spawns with the setting

wai_hero_limit                = 4;                                // define how many hero missions can run at once
wai_bandit_limit            = 0;                                // define how many bandit missions can run at once

Ok, changed all files like you said.

funny thing.
Missions dont get claimed after completed, they are still on map and mines dont disappear.

 

Even waited for several hours to get them to disappear, nothing happends.

 

Any suggestions ?
