Floors to have upgrade option for escape hatch Ladders for wall and or floor access 1/4 floor panel to give you elevated shooting over cinder wall.. or some other way to do this .. like a gun box to stand on. Also another possibility, a way to make a shooting platform for top of tall walls to be able to shoot from to defend base. Or crafting of shipping containers to shoot from, say 50 large scrap metal to craft one..and a ladder to climb up on Just some ideas .. Scaris Posted September 14, 2015 Report Share Posted September 14, 2015 The new stair model still has one big flaw however. It dumps you out at the top on one side and the doorways are always center so it can be problematic to get through a doorway if you want to keep the stairway 1x1. So to me the new stairs only are a 50% fix over the old ones, the other issue with them being the stud beams in the way at the top of the staircase making you have to vault to get off them. Scaris Posted September 15, 2015 Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 I always do, that doesn't change the fact that doorways are in the center of the wall and the top floor base of the staircase is on the side.... leaving you looking at a hole in the wall you can't actually step to. It means stairways always have to be increased to 2x1 at exits, and that's waste of building slots when they are greatly toned down with A3E.
