flow0815 Posted July 20, 2015 Report Share Posted July 20, 2015 Hey guys, i am not sure if this is fortuity or not but i changed the memory allocator back from freds malloc to malloc=system (on the server, not client). It SEEMS that the server fps are running fine at full speed during 2 hours reboot cycle with 25 player. Before there was less fps. Have to see if it will work with server fully populated. But I will say, I have the antagonists disabled on our server simply by placing the below code in the mpmissions init.sqf file // Epoch-antagonists enabled =1 / disabled = 0 //EPOCH_spawnLimits = ["Epoch_Cloak_F","GreatWhite_F","Epoch_Sapper_F","Epoch_SapperB_F","I_UAV_01_F","PHANTOM","B_Heli_Transport_01_F"] EPOCH_spawnLimits = [1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1]; Removing the antagonists didn't change the fps issue... But I will say, I have the antagonists disabled on our server simply by placing the below code in the mpmissions init.sqf file // Epoch-antagonists enabled =1 / disabled = 0 //EPOCH_spawnLimits = ["Epoch_Cloak_F","GreatWhite_F","Epoch_Sapper_F","Epoch_SapperB_F","I_UAV_01_F","PHANTOM","B_Heli_Transport_01_F"] EPOCH_spawnLimits = [1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1]; Removing the antagonists didn't change the fps issue... It helps because there is an issue when they spawn which slows down client fps, it also happened a few versions ago and this resolved it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kool, good to know, as I was making plans to use them, but in a different way. But may rethink things if the issue is still there. I disabled them before (and after) the updates on our server, and the fps issue is still a major issue. Best resolution I found, till an official fix, is for the clients to disconnect and reconnect, whenever they get bad fps. (The whole fps issue feels like memory cache that isn't getting free'd up properly.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
