i got everything to work but live map, i put the private hive tools in a folder named PrivHiveTools, then placed it in the htdocs and installed it, im using xampp, everything but livemap works, when i click live map i get ERROR: cannot select table "tool_settings" any idea what i can do to fix it?

Great tool, thanks for sharing!
The only thing i have to say against is the livemap, its very basic and doesn't provide too much intel on where people have traveled from/to like Blissadmin does.
If something like that could be added it would make me very happy.

How do I add a vehicle part to the traders? For example, if I select Friendly Building/Parts, and I want to add "PartFuelTank", it puts it in Building Supplies instead of Vehicle Parts. This is on Chernarus.

Not sure why you're getting that, but at least you can change the trader id for the item afterwards in Navicat, or an equivalent.

Well, how do I put it into a specific category when adding the items to the traders? I'm very confused by the trader ID's. Is there a resource someplace that lists them?

The number between each category is the trader ID, like Explosives, 529 is at the bandit camp.

What file is that? Unrelated, but I want to change the bandit trader to a hero trader since my server is PVE, with bandit AI so theres's no way to become a bandit. I assume I can change the bandit trader to "friendly" to allow heros to access it?

Thanks for the help so far. I know this isn't really related to the tool, but I appreciate the extra help in this thread. I was wondering if you could shed some light on the trader names in my server_traders.sqf. Who are the neutral traders? Who are the friendly traders? I see things like Ammunition Friendly, General Store, Friendly Vehicles 2, etc. Is there a list of this? I want to rename these for easier identification. I can't imagine why they were given such obscure names.

Okay that htdocs folder have a index.php file already so do i overwrite it or what?

index.php will just be the default loading page.

 

you should be fine to just overwrite it or if you want just rename it like index1.php and then upload the files

i have no idea what i am doing, i have a server hosted online, it uses phmyadmin for the database, i could really use a mentor to help me get a start on how all of this works

your server need to run as webserver, you open the setup.php through your browser, http://serverip/setup.php

you can even run it on localhost only to do the setup but the sense of theses tools is to get control of the server everywhere, so you should run a webserver on your machine

On PrivateHiveTools livemap, can you add support for other maps?  All the maps that Epoch supports would be a good initial group.

Hey, when I'm trying to edit peoples permissions they all revert back to default after I've changed and accepted it.

I can't get the traders list to work in the tool, they worked before the patch but now when I copy and paste the server_traders.sqf info into the parser it just does nothing, I can't add items to the traders because there is no list of traders coming up, anybody know how to fix this?
