  1. Unable to enable Zeus

    Hello. My friend is hosting an Epoch server and has tried just about everything to enable Zeus; SLZ, SSPCM, MCC, adding a Zeus module to the mission.sqm and linking a Zeus module to a default survivor NPC. We want to use Zeus to host events and set the atmosphere, but nothing we're doing works. Any ideas or suggestions? I also tried googling for a method to add a Zeus slot to the lobby like this, but I've come up with nothing.
  2. Help me! arma 3 epoch napf

    Greetings! I need some help in running arma 3 epoch mod server on a napf map. I found out that I need a file with the coordinates of map buildings for spawn loot like this one used in altis map (if I understood correctly). altis.h I found it in the file "epoch_server_settings.pbo" in the folder "epoch_server_settings\configs\maps", there is also a file for napf, but the problem is it is almost empty. napf.h I do not know what to do.
  3. In debug on my server, ServerUpTime is not showing at all. Would like to know what is the reason for that.     hi guys i just got a weird problem everytime i connect a server i get a blank land and i cant quit the server, have to Alt+F4 to get out :/ and i get no error codes . any ideas ??
  5. Hello guys I am very frustrated. I'm trying for days to create on my computer an Epoch Server. I only have problems. 1. When I want to join my server I see the loading screen an a number on the right bottom screen. Then nothing happend. At the console I see Payer xxx disconnected I deactivated BattleEye and I can join now 2. I'm in my server now but after one minute I get kicked "authentication timeout" I tried to launch without Steam. It did not help. I added this lines to the server config.cfg steamport=2300; steamqueryport=2301; requiredBuild=125548; requiredSecureId=2; Here are the RPT files the first one is with activated BattleEye the second one without.   6. Hello fellow A3 Epoch enthusiasts, My server has or was running fine, and then after I installed some very easy to install scripts my server stopped dead in its tracks when I tried to start it. Naturally I looked at the RPT and this is what I get and KEEP getting even after rolling back any recent script installs. I am very frustrated and hope that someon out there can point me in the right direction.   8. [HELP] Deploy anything script

The install instructions are pretty simple, simply add call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "addons\bike\init.sqf"; to my init.sqf file underneath my compiles file.   10. weird disappearing fn_self'actions' bug Help

    Hi so ive been overhauling my servers and adding a few addons recently and just about a week ago a admin in my dev server with me noticed how the he couldnt get any epoch or custom actions (the ones that are executed/put in the fn_selfactions file)to show up on his scroll wheel but he was able to get actions like gear,get in and scripts that execute the action them selfs. For example I have door management and when i scroll I can get the unlock button to show up and then it will display the door management lock/unlock dialog but when I scroll on a door I own/placed I cant get the door managment scroll action to show up, because the unlock door action is in the dayz code i beleive thats why actions that aren't in my custom self actions file will show up so i suspect something to do with a loop etc. This only seems to start happening after the servers been up and had a player connected for about 10-20 minutes but before that time everything shows up fine, I checked my RPT file (both client and server side) and nothing is spiting out that involves any mention or reference of the custom self actions file or scroll wheel actions in general ive also tried commenting out some addons actions like vehicle paint etc and it doesn't seem to help. fn_selfactions.sqf Any help greatly appreciated thanks

    Hello epoch players! I have a server that has been up for about a week or so, however, as the title explains people are having problems joining. I have some of my friends join without a problem, while others have had multiple problems, now here is the kicker. I use DART for my server to get a player list and also it use for administrating. I can see random people attempting to join but this is ALWAYS the message I receive from dart. [2015-01-04 | 22:29:00] Player #9 Player (************************* IP) connected [2015-01-04 | 22:29:01] Player #9 Player - GUID: ******************************* (unverified) [2015-01-04 | 22:29:01] Verified GUID (**********************) of player #9 Player [2015-01-04 | 22:29:02] Player #9 Player - Legacy GUID: ************************* [2015-01-04 | 22:29:05] Player #9 Player disconnected So I know people are trying to join but they do not get to the main lobby. (I know this because the server RPT does not even know that these people have entered due to it actually taking note of players when they have successfully reached the lobby) No here is the big problem... I can't figure it out... and without actually getting feedback from players that are not able to join, (which is impossible on account of me being unable to get in communication with these random players) I cannot get a reasonable lead on what the problem would be. Here is some info: The server shows up in gametracker: http://www.gametrack....101.169:64817/ The server also shows up in dayz launcher, however it has problems updating the player count and does not show the ping... The server does show up in dayz commander but it does not state that the server is hosting 1.5.0.1 epoch on it. Hello, and although I have the problem that if I do not come out of the box mortality and new Spawn there are no manhole cover since you can interact with what's there are the tubes but that means you can do anything. is the map of Bornholm. many thanks for the help German: Hallo, und zwar habe ich das Problem das wenn ich Sterbe und neu Spawne nicht aus dem Kasten komme es sind auch keine Gullydeckel da das man interagieren kann was da ist sind die Röhren aber damit kann man ja nichts machen. es handelt sich um die Map Bornholm. vielen dank für die Hilfe
  15. Hi there, On this server I play on (also an admin) I have noticed we have encountered a problem that we haven't encountered before. I looked all over the internet for a while and couldn't find any fixes or anything relevant to the problem at all. So basically what is happening is that a player (seems to happen to anyone, any vehicle at any time) buys a vehicle from a trader like you do and it's fine then. But at any random time the locked vehicle will become an unlocked one. For example one of my vehicles CharID is: 1553, the objectID (objID) is: 14032 and the key required to unlock this vehicle is a Green Key (9569) (my key is really immature haha) but at any random time the vehicle could go unlocked and the CharID and objID will change from 1533 and 14032 to 0 for both and the key will no longer be needed as it has gone unlocked. It has happened to nearly everybody who plays on the server and it has even happened to all the admin including myself and we don't try glitch the game or anything we play it legit so we aren't sure as to what is causing this problem and I've been trying to get my head round it for a few weeks now so if someone out there has had this happen to them or if anyone knows how to fix it your help will be greatly appreciated but I haven't seen this problem anywhere on the internet so I am kind of not optimistic about this. The server is on Epoch Napf and it is Epoch (1.0.5.1) and DayZ (1.8.1). If you need any more details just ask :) Cheers

    Hello. I've got a problem with the latest (2.1.3) DZAI after adding Lingor map running Dayz Epoch 1.0.5.1 My server runs both vehicle and heli AI. The problem is: vehicle AIs sometimes get stuck on the road, sometimes are blocked near houses and fences which are located near roads they should be moving by. Sometimes they stop on a deadlocks of the roads and stand there forever. As for helis - they do not have obstacles in the air, so they work fine. Mostly these vehicles are just standing still and waiting for something forever. At Chernarus everything was ok. *One more thing - when vehicle AIs are standing still, it's not always because of obstacles. Mostly it is an empty road wothout anything to stop them. ?!??

In the newest patch 0.1.0.2 when a exploding zombie/monster or whatever you call it spawns and it "fixes" on you, the chat is spammed by some counter which seems to count seconds or something, it spams it like 7-10 times in a second. My friend had the same problem when a exploding thingy spawned "on him". Very annoying but kind of helpful for knowing who's it following hehe.
  18. Temperature/Thirst Indicators gone

    Helly everybody =) I have a problem with my HUD: From time to time (couldn't really figure out when exactly because it's somewhat random) the temperature and thirst icons disappear (just a black icon...), and i can't tell if they change: i added a temperature info-text, so my players can see their body-temp - i'm not sure if the temperature is changing after the icons disappeared... I installed namalsk cold weather ( changed files mentioned here - took my own files from the .pbos ) and Enhanced Waterbottle ( here ) as well as Cen's Custom GUI ( ) which have any relation to those two icons... (others are some custom .sqfs, menus, actions, bots, etc... To be clear: I had the problem BEFORE the installation of Cen's Custom GUI aswell... Does anybody know what problem achieves this?   19. Problems to find Server

    Hey guys, I got whitelisted today and I ve downloaded and installed the mod. The Problem now is that I dont find any Server. Is anywhere a serverlist that I can join to server via "Remote" here is a picture that I really got whitelisted. //e I am now on a server but I cant interact with the NPCs? Can anyone help me? :(
  20. Spawning Problems

    Hey! For some reason my server has went onto it's head :/ It was running fine a while back but yesterday my friend and I had trouble spawning in after a restart :| We were in the game normally, but after the server restarted, we joined back, we got back the verification and downloading player data, but we get stuck on the "DayZ Overpoch" Screen, we can hear sounds around us (I was getting mauled by zombies) and we could hear our selves walk? Any idea what it could be? :c
  21. Changing host DB problem

    Hi, so this seems to be a recurring issue for me. I have a server that's been running for a few months. I want to switch hosts but keep my database. I've tried two different was of creating backups of the database and both had the same result. When I setup the new server it has a really, really hard time starting up... I constantly get kicked back to the lobby and it takes about 4 tries to get into the game. No RPT errors that I can find. If I put a fresh database in the server it starts up normally first try. The server does not stutter like this normally, just having trouble getting it moved onto a new system for some reason. Anyone know what might be causing this? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
  22. I have tryed for the last 14 hours to fix this, but no luck. we have 7 dayz mod servers and can only connect to one. One is at arma 112548 and the others are at 130718 and 112555. Yesterday it started, non of my players can log onto the older versions. Only two of us can log into the 125548, but cant log into any other servers. we use dayz commander. is any one else having this problem? Also is there a fix?
  23. Dear survivors, I have been playing epoch for about 2 years now, and im really experienced with it. I have been admin on two server and mod on many server. And now its time to begin my own server. I bought one with a friend and he coded the admin menu in it and some other stuff, but now the problem is we can't get the server turned on and able to join for anyone, not even ourself? It isn't showing up on DayZCommander either.. we bought it around 12 hours ago, and i did see another topic where it said it can take 24 hours for the server to be provisioned.. what do they mean by this and does anyone know any solutions for it? Thanks for reading this and i'm hoping for someone to help us, cheers. ^_^
  24. Some of my helicopters are going underground when they hit the ground. Typically no explosion or anything it just goes underground and if the player dies if he/she ejects. It doesn't happen to most of them. Specifically this is happening with the new CH53_DZE and a couple extra pook helis I wanted to add. Anybody know why this might be happening? I'm not finding much information on the topic by searching.
  25. Okay so to explain my problem in the easiest way I can think possible. Problem: When I Join my server, I get stuck at "Waiting for server to start authentication", but I can hear radio calls (eg. Private, Arma 2 command calls) from other players who are also stuck at this stage, then eventually get returned to lobby after a timeout. What I have tried to fix it: Reset all files, MPMissions, and dayz_server, Then worked, however, the second i made a change to the init.sqf, it spun this error. Even when i put the init.sqf back to default, this error still came, the only way to stop it was to do a full reset on the server and mission files. Probably tried every logical thing.
