moosed Posted December 31, 2014 Report Share Posted December 31, 2014 Started playing this for the first time in a few weeks and it seems the graphics have been downgraded massively, the grass view distance is tiny... the textures poor. It just looks awful. Turning the settings up in the arma configuration makes no difference. Are all the servers now forcing everyone to use really low settings ? moosed Posted December 31, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2014 seriously, has no one else noticed that all the epoch servers are all forcing incredibly low graphic setttings now ? grass draws in about 10 metres away from you for example, everything in the distance is blurry etc. It looks really bad and has pretty much killed my enthusiasm for the mod, especially as graphics for this mod were generally better quality than in breaking point.... thats not the case anymore if all servers are forcing these low settings. Tobias Solem Posted January 1, 2015 Report Share Posted January 1, 2015 You're probably playing on Chernarus if you dislike the graphics, because Chernarus looks like it does because it has low-res textures, shaders etc. - stick to Altis-maps if you want your game to look like it belongs in this side of the century.
