Saltzman
Epoch Arma 3 Server Install Guide. As the title says can someone write up a detailed guide on the install please. Yes I know the files aren't released yet but we can go ahead and start doing what we can until the files are released publicly. Thanks in advance. Defent
Just look in to how you install a mod for ArmA 3 and run it on a server then pretty much apply the same logic to when ArmA 3 Epoch is out. I figure it's not that much different.
Zupa
And it will be quite simular to arma 2 dayz epoch. ( Server files/ Missions File/ Launch parameters). The only difference will be your database (connection).
Saltzman
Yah I just figured it would really help people like myself and specially new people. Considering the mod is less than a month from being publicly released and there in a nice write up already for Epoch Arma 2, it would be nice to have one done for A3 aswell. Thanks
MGT
It's pretty straight forward, a lot easier than DayZ Epoch to install. There is a database structure, it's not MySQL and only requires a port and password to be entered in a config like the old hiveext.ini from Arma 2. If you've setup an Arma 2 DayZ Epoch server and you're fairly confident with setting up, it should take no longer than 5 minutes, it's just setting ports, server name etc.

Zupa
Personally i'm hoping that there will not be more servers then players in Epoch Arma 3 :) Like it currently is in Epoch DayZ. GasT

Saltzman
I would like to update this thread with a proper solution. If you want to install a Arma 3 server here is a very detailed video on how to do it. *This is not my video* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmNfC1xJVRw

maddingamer
If you know how to make an arma 3 server, the epoch server won't be too hard for you :) Just add the needed mods and edit the serverconfig and epochconfig and of curse add the missionfile ^^
