SMAW's will result in a kick for most players on servers, might be a good idea to comment them out by default. If you do want to add a launcher I would recommend with RPG-7 with the standard rounds, it is wildly inaccurate so doesn't make it too over powered. 

 

For people running Sarge AI and Mission AI the Sarge Bandits will engage and kill the Mission Bandits. I think this is because the Mission AI spawn in on side resistance which Sarge uses for Survivor AI.

 

I've not tried it yet but try changing the following line in the add_unit_server files (dayz_server/mission):

_aiGroup = createGroup resistance;

to 

_aiGroup = createGroup east;

Hopefully that will fix it. 

 

I keeping finding mission sites with dead people all over the place. Doesn't seem to be a server cleanup issue as nothing in logs.

 

I used the new cleanup posted by Wonkel but AI vehicles are still being deleted by cleanup when I get close or enter them. Have added them to allowed objects table and will report back. (Alt tabbed in game at the moment so probably just died).

 

 

**Edit**

 

Looks like the code posted by Wonkel had an error in it, I added the vehicles used in the missions to be "allowed" and they are no longer deleted. 

 

Confirmed about the mission AI faction issue, killing them will cause Sarge AI soldiers and survivors to try to kill you.

Aber, ist es möglich Convoy Missionen einzufügen und bei allen missionen diese Rechts im Debug Monitor für einige Sekunden anzuzeigen, zusätzlich zur normalen anzeige mittem im bild.

Hey, bei meinem testlauf durch 30 Missionen ist mir aufgefallen dass nur Missionen von SM1 bis SM 6 durchlaufen, SM7 bis SM13 kamen nicht 1x vor.

 

an was kann das liegen?

 

Und der C-130 Crash hab ichs nicht geschafft zu "reseten" obwohl alles downgschossen worden war und so zimlich jeden Punkt abgelaufen... hmmm

Hallo !

 

 

 

Nächste Woche hab ich wieder mehr zeit für das hier und schaus mir genau an.

 

Vielleicht werde ich auch die Bandit AI Missions fertig machen mit convoys etc. !

 

Next week i've more time for this project guys !

 

@ dagg929 u can set the "Sarge" ai in the mission minor and major to "DZAI"

 

@ muskel : i'm aware of the issues and fixing folllows next week or a completely re edited mission system for epoch based on DayZ Bandit AI

 

Wokkelwakker is also a tester for this and replied to me with the same issue !

Hi - sorry if it sounds dumb, but what exactly do I need to install and is there a step by step?

 

I'd like to use patrolling AI, and also use the 26 missions.

 

I've downloaded the merged mission files, epoch edition ground, and the epoch patrol addition....

 

Could anyone lend a hand?

Is there any way to set this up easily so that it is a self contained thing? I'd love to run this, but I don't want to run sarge AI all over my server.

 

 

SARGE folder, SAR_config.sqf

 

Change:

SAR_dynamic_spawning = true;

False

 

 

 

Comment out location specific spawn in SAR_cfg_grps_chernarus.sqf

 

Near the bottom is the heli spawn and vehicle patrols, comment these out as well.

The last build I checked does not use Sarge AI anyway, it spawns in mission AI from Arma 2, configures their weapons, attributes and patrol independently of Sarge AI.

Hello , the only problem i have with this script is that at every mission spawn all the ai spawn dead except one or maybe 2. Could it be because i am using dzai ?

I'd suggest you compare Sarge AI script:

But seriously, this thread says multiple times it's made for Sarge AI. The topic title says it, first post says it, and a few times between the first post and yours.

If could do this on my own i wont be asking for since they dont allow multiple accounts on one machine !

No it is the Sarge patrols config (Sarge AI Epoch Edition Patrols -> "Sarge AI Epoch Edition\addons\SARGE\SAR_config.sqf"):

e.g.

SAR_surv_sniper_weapon_list = ["PMC_AS50_TWS","SVD_CAMO","Huntingrifle"];

I already changed it in my server, just wanted to tell other admins who might use the config as is.. :D

 

And you won't get errors as the classnames are not wrong, but other versions of the weapon Epoch is using!

SAR_band_rifleman_weapon_list = ["AK_107_kobra","Sa58V_CCO_EP1","Pecheneg"];

but Epoch uses "Pecheneg_DZ" rather than "Pecheneg".

 

Can you post the changes you made for us currently not as informed admins, lol

Me to ventana you should just keep the first page link as updated instead of others looking at all these older builds in the comments it gets very confusing witch ones are the latest.

The issue im having is alot of the missions are either spawning all the ai dead when im using sarge ai witch i didn't'nt want to use just the system itself so when i take out sarge there is no markers for these missions also there is no loot spawning on 70% of the missions and any vehicle you try to get into either kills the host or dissapers instantly i hope you can help me or fix as i love your mission script i think it adds a unique aspect to epoch thanks

1.TheSzerdi and Lazyink did this script ,i just merged it for my rMod Server,about 3-4 Months ago...

 

1.1 Post is always the latest !

 

2.Merged Mission System was created for DayZ Vanilla ,rMod2.1 and works with Sarge AI

 

3. The updated Version with Patroling AI Choppers on specified Missions is in progress . BUT THIS NEEDS FURTHER TESTS and can't be done in a few hours !

I do this in my freetime and i do not get anything for this !

hey all,

       ok i've looked every where on how to fix an issues i'm having with missions not starting and/or reporting via marking or message. they just don't fire. i've re-installed the files a few times and still nothing. attached is a POB with all the effected files. let me know if i missed something pls and thank you.
