What i have to do for script my new server?

Hi to all,

I've recently opened a DayZ Epoch server with DayZ Priv,

but i haven't idea how to insert scripts and where i can find scripts.

Someone can help me?

Or you can go Vanilla,  and apply for Offical server status....

But where i can find my mission file and where i can find DayZ Epoch scripts?

 

And what will happen if i insert a wrong script?

Use this to gain access to your files,download the one suitable for you. Once you have that installed you then enter the appropriate details to login which DayzPriv send you in an email.

When you add something to the server the wrong way there are lots of things that could have happened.

 

1. Always check your rpt logs to find any errors you may have got

 

2. Search Google for the answer your looking for before writing another post here in the forums as the question you are looking for has most likely already been asked by someone else

 

3. Don't ask people to install the scripts for you as they may put hidden hacks in your scripts and your users won't be to impressed. Not only that but patches come out pretty often now so you would only have to re-install all the scripts you put on there. So tip is to learn how to do it and use the method trial&error

On your desktop create a folder called - DayzServer.

Then make another folder inside of that called - Origanal

and one more called - Current 

 

Now once you have logged into your ftp (filezilla) download all the files and place them all into both Origanal & Current folders this will keep your files in order and you will always be able to revert back to the last one you did if something went wrong. When you add a new script to your server just add a new folder to this with the date as the name.

One last thing when you open your ftp you will see lots of different folders. Don't replace or delete any of them just edit whats inside of them
