Honestly though its better than rehashing old maps such as Chernarus, Taviana, Napf... We need more original maps.

Every server has different reasons for bans. Or the admin could be a childish prick and ban for no reason... People are childish. It wouldn't work and would be overly abused.

I totally agree with the random new guy, it's total shite and should really be labled an Alpha that's only 25% done ...... oh oh wait a minute :rolleyes:

Looks like your server doesn't actually have the AiA enabled. Though I could be wrong.

Mells House is not just a community server. It's an official development server. As such we use it for large scale testing for RC patches and new content patches. As we finalize the build we will release the server files.
 
I know it seems unfair to some but it's not, because in the end you get a version that isn't as buggy.

There was a reason they weren't doing this. And I think it was in case something was in the notes that couldn't make it for the patch. They didn't want to hear the complaining  associated with that. I could be wrong though.

That has nothing to do with it. If you legitimately figured out the combo that would have been fine. You exploited a glitch with the current building system. You should have reported it and left there not taken the lockbox for yourself. Pretty sure exploitation of a known glitch (which is what you did) could end in a ban from that server.  

Yet you have no quarrel glitching and stealing some one else's lockbox.... Interesting morals you have sir.

That's an exploit in it's finest. Hope this got put in the bug section of the forums too.

This idea is just completely horrible as  sometimes people really do have to go in split second and Alt-F4. This also punishes those who log the correct way. You never know when some  one might be around or a cultist or sapper might ruin your day. Then you have people complaining about their character being "wiped".

Please ensure you're playing on an official server. Chances are if you are not whitelisted and don't have a password it's not an official one.

I agree.. I think we've tested the repawn and spawn teleports enough. I understand people want to have fun however people need to rest other things. This stage of the development is to help find bugs and test aspects that might not have not been tested/found yet.

If nothing else try to make contact with the person before shooting, a little role play hasn't killed anyone.

I'm glad the Dev's did this. Saddened but hopefully the people who will be whitelisted will actually be able to test stuff instead of the respawn button. That aside Keep rocking it out!

How in the hell did you find enough scrap metal?!

I suggest that like in arma 2 epoch we can make wood walls. Then as we collect scrap metal upgrade them to the corrugated metal. This was we have some form of covering the wall frame. Possibly getting more security by having to cover the outside and inside of the frame?

I was just thinking so we can have 3 types of bases.

Regardless of both sides OCN made it public. If they did try to contact the Devs first then cool. However I get the feeling this wasn't the case.

I would like to say thank you for your professionalism in dealing with the hosting companies shutting down servers without notice. To me it is indeed very childish.
