beetlejuice321 Posted March 13, 2014 Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 I have been told by a couple Epoch server admins that most Epoch servers wipe all database data monthly (stats, bases, etc) in order to "clean up data". Bases and stats must all be restarted. I could find no documentation or posts to support this. Is this true? While I am sure some servers do this I doubt most Epoch players would want to restart everything monthly. I would assume that you rarely need to wipe the database, and should have admins cleanup un-needed data such as spawned vehicles or abandonded bases etc. If databasese do need wiped I assumed this would be done every few months at the most.
