So I copied the folder over after deleting and replace the "AdminList.sqf" but now I am unable to get admin tools up and nothing in the .rpt points to an error with admin tools.

 

Only change to the server was this.

Be sure to follow the readme. The update you do may require some new changes or things put in a different places now.

So it's the anti-hack causing this?  I'll double check that I put the BattleEye filters in then.  I'm also running OverPoch and have not gotten this to work since.

 

yeah i was using these tools fine with epoch, and then when we started overpoch servers the tp2me function was broken

and my spawn select script was also tp'ing players back to their random spawn location regardless of what they selected. 

 

when i started looking through the overwatch files, i noticed the overwatch inbuilt antihack seemed to only cover teleporting.

 

so i added that variable to disable the overwatch antihack, and the default epoch ah is left on. and it works. 

hope it works for you too.

I may add that in for the release. I plan on writing another dll that will actually write these into their own file though. I was going to write a base copy script myself using the same idea as the minecraft world edit from back in the bukkit era. Maca beat me to it so I will just be manipulating his to include my ideas if they are at all possible. So as it stands I plan to manipulate it so that a dll will write a .sqf for each base and all you do is add the exec command to adminlist (soon to be changed to config.sqf) If this doesn't work properly I would still write a dll to write the bases to their own file because having it in the rpt is really bad practice. It is like writing what you did with your kids today in your report to your boss.

It says there is a value restriction so it should be an issue in the val file. Not sure why it is saying that for simply setting the variable to a string, but put up your val file (use drop box or something similar so that I can see line numbers).

I get public variable restrictions relating to the usage logger for multiple things.. 31 for activating admin, 32 for spawning crates, 60 when showing code plus more. When they appear, I just fix them in this list but some are not as obvious as you would like.. if you could best advise how to add the exceptions rather than revert to logging instead of allowing BE to kick, would be best.

I get public variable restrictions relating to the usage logger for multiple things.. 31 for activating admin, 32 for spawning crates, 60 when showing code plus more. When they appear, I just fix them in this list but some are not as obvious as you would like.. if you could best advise how to add the exceptions rather than revert to logging instead of allowing BE to kick, would be best.

It isn't working properly just yet. I will probably rewrite it from the ground up. Can't find the exact issue with it. I know it won't execute for everyone, just the admin and remote executing it for all players didn't seem to work for some reason.

You could try setting the logging variables in the adminlist.sqf to false. I can't figure out why you are getting these errors but I am not. I just rebuilt my server entirely with new database and fresh install of the games.

Okay, so I changed it to a 1 and turned major and monir event logging to false and it now works, I did both at the same time so cannot say for sure which did the trick but going to assume it was changing the filter to 1.

 

Tested and working with admin mode, spawning crates, TP and zombie spawner.

 

Will let you know if any of the other options become an issue.

If you get a chance try it with the logger enabled for me and let me know if that works. I can't replicate the problem no matter what I do, but you are not the only one with this issue.

Couple of things I have found with doing testing.

 

1. While godmode is on, still get knocked out and killed by zeds. this includes AI missions from atleast WAI.

2. The building copy/paste feature removes the option to open doors with locks, cannot unlock safes and admin tools wont show the code, also stops plot poles from working.

3. ESP often does not work, doesn't always show players on the map and sometimes 1 player will show a different name to who they are.

4. Point to repair fixes the heli but if you scroll wheel and go to repair, it still shows damage, this i think is a matter of the heli still showing damage until restart, wont know that until our next restart.
