phm
Congrats on the release of 0.3.3. All of the client file downloads are still 0.3.2. How long before we see those updated? Looks like Steam already has 0.3.3, so everyone will be locked out of the servers until the client bits can be updated on the servers as well. vbawol
It takes time for me to contact everyone to update the mirrors and it also take them some time to process and sync the files. If you still have issues with a certain mirror here in a hour or so please report back.

Chainsaw Squirrel
yea took me a min... found on steam first
phm
I found one and am downloading now. I'm thinking that the Steam push should be last, not first so that all the mirrors have the new files before all the players are locked out of the servers.Just a thought... vbawol
You can use steamcmd to get the files from Steam workshop, here is an example:https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/blob/master/Tools/Install/InstallEpoch.cmd

phm
A related noob question:How would one attempt to determine the values "107410 421839251" above? Is there some kind of lookup table at Steam that provides these values for different products (including Epoch client and server)?
vbawol
107410 = is the full Arma 3 install appid421839251 = is our steamworkshop id http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=421839251

I sure hope you mean "Epoch" instead of "Arma 3" otherwise, I'm more confused than I thought.
axeman
nope, 107410 is the steam id for Arma 3.
phm
nope, 107410 is the steam id for Arma 3.Is there a code that will get me the "@epoch" (not "@epochhive") bits for a Linux server? That's really what I'm after.
phm
That command above doesn't work actually: $ ~/steamcmd/steamcmd.sh +login [redacted] [redacted] +force_install_dir /home/steam/test_install +workshop_download_item 107410 421839251 +quit Redirecting stderr to '/home/steam/Steam/logs/stderr.txt' [ 0%] Checking for available updates... Logging in user '[redacted]' to Steam Public...Logged in OK Waiting for license info...OK Downloading item 421839251 ... ERROR! Download item 421839251 failed (Failure). EDIT: More info from ~steam/Steam/logs/workshop_log.txt: [2015-09-14 13:57:16] Loading workshop items for 1 installed apps for user [redacted]: [2015-09-14 13:57:17] Loading workshop items for 0 installed apps for user [redacted]: [2015-09-14 13:57:17] Loaded workshop items for app 107410 in "/home/steam/steamcmd/steamapps/workshop" (0 installed, 1 needed) [2015-09-14 13:57:17] Starting Workshop download job for AppID 107410 [2015-09-14 13:57:18] Update workshop job for app 107410 canceled: No cached workshop manifest 107410_421839251 (Invalid content configuration) [2015-09-14 13:57:18] Finished Workshop download job for AppID 107410 (Invalid content configuration) EDIT: Ok, this was using a Steam ID that I created just to download the Arma 3 Dedicated Server (which requires no purchase). It works when I use the "real" ID that I used to purchase Arma 3. Hopefully this will be useful to someone who wants to get the "@epoch" files quickly when they've been pushed to Steam but are not available on any mirrors yet.
