PATCH 1.0.2.5 Bug reporting thread

The is an Epoch bug we have had since 1.0.2.2. Clothing reverts back to default survivor skin when restart and/or log out/in. Buying skins is a waste as the clothing vanishes and replaced with civi clothes.

 

Clothes work fine on my vanill and custom server. You must have a conflict with your addons.

1.2.0.4 and 1.2.0.5 bug.

 

Bug:

Examining more than 1 document at once will yield all the same item. For example, take 12 documents, examine all of them, and they will all return same item.

 

Exploit:

Can drop 1 document at a time after examining, and use the auto crafting to examine to get the next item you desire, such as how to: ramp. Then let the autocraft finish and get every document to turn into a how to: ramp. Defeats purpose of the items rarity.

 

Tested on vanilla and on modified server, same results.

This will be fixed in the next patch. For now you will need to examine them one at a time or use the method you have chosen.

I notice that after starting the game with dayz commander, and then going back to the main menu. The Expansion (mod) of epoch is called "Epoch v1.0.2.4", when its Epoch v1.0.2.5.

yes just a bug with the display name of the version, will be fixed next patch.

I believe that since the 1.0.2.4 update there has been something wrong with domes. They all worked fine until then. They have now started to bug out at diff times for no apparent reason. I'm leaning towards a humanity issue. You can enter a dome after some combat with ai, (dont know about player) and afterwards you can just stroll into protective domes. But if you re-log or change clothes, everything effects you again instantly.

I believe converting ammo from ACP to 1911 is broken - even with 3-4 ACP clips in my inventory, I can't convert anything to 1911 - I just get the 85% message and blocked from converting anything.

Currently you can convert ACP to 1911 but to convert 1911 to ACP you need to spend one bullet from the clip so it does not try to make a nearly empty magazine. You should be able to convert 1911 to ACP if your total count for all magazines is over 85%.  For example if you have one 1911 magazine with 7 bullets and one ACP magazines with 5 bullets you should be able to combine for two full ACP magazines. 

 

Not introduced with .5 and I'm quite sure, we did not mess up this ourselves:

 

The wholesaler prices for ScrapMetal are off: bulk_PartGeneric is 3 gold just like tanktraps, should be around 4*10oz silver to keep the 'pay 10 get 12' rule.

For the next patch I have changed PartGeneric to 6 silver for buy/sell as well as changed bulk_PartGeneric to 2 gold so that fits the 'pay 10 get 12' rule.

"Domes" are not a part of epoch for many reasons and not supported by us. However if this issue was only caused by using newer epoch versions then the "Dome" code your using is likely partly based on older epoch code and needs updated.

internal consistency is hard to maintain for scrap metal:

 

now:

  • FuelTank 8 silver -> 1 ScapMetal for 8s
  • EngineParts 10s  -> 2 SM for 5s each
  • VRotor: 10s -> 3SM for 3.33s each, atm the cheapest method

 

After raising SM to 6s at least the VRotor would have to be raised to 2*10oz....

Yes there should be no profit in scraping these parts for metal.

  • FuelTank 10oz silver buy 5 sell
  • EngineParts 20oz silver, 10 sell
  • VRotor: 20oz silver, 10 sell
