Stop combat logging?

So if someone "combat logs", they get knocked out when they play again? Pretty stupid since the game can't tell the difference between someone that lost power, or had a game crash, or maybe suddenly had to leave the game because of something in real life, and didn't have time to properly exit the game...

A lot of servers now use that anti-combat logging script. And yeah, it doesn't discriminate between a legitimate disconnect and a combat-log  (I don't think it would be able to).

I don't think it's stupid at all. I know some games that have way worse consequences.. I know some Epoch servers that will database kill you if they find out you are combat logging.

think your self lucky, on my server if you combat log you get 1000 blood, bleeding, broken legs and knocked out.....

 

yes there is no way to tell if it was legit or not but blame the combat loggers not the admin who are trying to prevent it

Is there a way for me to disable this on my server? Sometimes I might need to shut down quickly and I shouldn't penalized for it. Besides, my server is PvE only so there is, in theory, less combat logging.
