Kind-Sir
Do walls built by cinder blocks need to be maintained every 6 days like wood walls? Yes, depending on the server's settings.
ToejaM
So how does the maint work, is there a wiki that details it all?
orangesherbet
it will tell you what you need if you go up to the wall and attempt to "maintain" the wall/floor
ToejaM
I mean, why do we have to maintain? Degeneration? Cleanup scripts?

vbawol
I'm interested in this, do we see a visual degradation? I'm slightly concerned I will log in to half my base missing! We are going to add a visual indicator of damage in the future.
BetterDeadThanZed
Where is the setting that determines how often the walls have to be maintained?
Kind-Sir
Where is the setting that determines how often the walls have to be maintained? In your hiveext.ini, under the [Object] tag (if it's not present, make it):CleanupPlacedAfterDays = 14 http://dayzepoch.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Configuration_Instructions

Kind-Sir
where would i find the hive.ini file on a dayz.st server?, the only thing i have found called hive i cant access it thanks for any help The hive.ini file should be in your instance_##_mapname folder where you have your Battleye filters, battleye settings, config.cfg file, basic.cfg, and so on. If you do not have access to the hive.ini, push in a ticket to dayz.st for them to update the ini with your preferred setting. Remember, a number of -1 will not delete any objects from the database, essentially keeping them there until destroyed, removed, or pruned by an admin.
