Electric fence

Hi, first of all I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I was sitting wondering if it was possible to create a script that would allow you to craft an electric fence.

Maybe use wire fence kit and a generator. Would make bases a bit safer. Maybe have them knock you out instead of killing you.

  Good idea.

 

  I think you can possibly make a script that runs a loop checkin if a player is within .5 meters of a fence but I don't know how to make the checks to see if a generator is running near it.

 

  I like the premise behind it though.

It's about 50% complete right now, it kills zombles and knocks players out.

Next things i gotta add is -

    Owner being able the check which fences are powered and which aren't. So they can position the generator properly.

    Friendly tagging compatability. Don't wanna knock your friends out all the time, or maybe you do ;)

   

Some fixes i gotta do -

    It seems that after the first ~2 knockouts it stops disabling user input, which is bad.

    Improve the 'collision detection'. If you wanna call it that.

 

I gotta say though, this is the WORST thing ever to be testing. That sound :|

How about instead of checking every fence to see if it is on, just activate the plot markers but center them on the generator to give visable indicator of range.  It is very simple to do.  The script is comiles/object_showPlotRadius.sqf
