I'm not defending anybody's server(s) because I don't care how anyone else runs their server(s) but if you want to place blame then put that on the GSP's that allow anyone with $20 to run a server.
 
If you were required to buy and run from a dedicated server where you have to know at least something, then you'd see a LOT of those servers gone :)
 
DayZ was about survival for about a solid year before it turned into a PVP fest.
 
Epoch on A2 was never about survival it was about PVP + Base Building.
 
Epoch on A3 is 100% PVP because there's nothing else to do at the moment.

SANDBAGS  , simple , portable , multipurpose , I ask for good old SANDBAGS :)

I have the same experience like Xyz and most of the big groups i meet during all my day z years aswell. I would always choose a big com instead of another small server with anormous bending rules ( fun fact: we have a lawyer in our team and even he is tired of the endless discussions with so many admins).
 
Even while playing mostly on CCG i have never spend a single € in a ig shop for day z / epoch/ overpoch whatever. Still most of the time in the top 3 regarding basedimensions. I don't  see the p2w in a shop like that. Are you going to win a firefight only because you just purchased a cinderblock? You can loose everything in seconds. Safe open and you just get raided? Can you donate a antiraid? I don't think so. It is all about the fight between groups atm and no one can buy a advantage in a shop like ccg.

The shops are p2shortcut. Nothing else. And please don't say me you can win the daily fights with a cinderwall more in your base. Are you even playing the game or is it just the pure hate in this thread?

Way to flawed. It completely clips out the character instead of showing parts of it that should be visible, shadows disappear that should be visible.
 
Why not just suck it up and live with how it work instead of being part of a 5% of the community that bitch about it. Wall peeking I understand that but from what I have seen in some videos that is even easier in 1st person by simple bino/no weapon running into the wall. Saw someone even switched from his OP 3rd person to 1st person to easily look thru the whole wall instead of parts of the cam glitching thru.
 
To me 3rd person compensates for the lack of stances, yes even if ARMA has tons of them its still not possible to just peek thru some holes, only let the tip of your head rise over a wall and so on.

Pls dont throw out statements like that. This is a working system for Arma 3. Some screens from 5 secs ago on the skaronator server. Nearly 66 player. Same fps with 80. Pls dont leed this thread into  a hardware bashing.

Epoch became rly famous because of servers with indestructible bases. There was close to no one using the system without this. Every server with indestructible bases was full and a server without it was empty. Even in the latest  famous mod "overpoch" are only one or two working bases on a full server if the bases are not indestructible.
 
With 80-90 people on the server you have to rebuild your base every 5-8h. I want to see a big base with open crates or intresting cars that can withstand on a full server longer than 1 day without 24h guards. 
 
Epoch is famous for basebuilding, horting or even !safes! and not for a "day z tent feeling".
 
Btw you can still raid a base with indestructible walls and only safes inside but it will take you a way more skill and planning.

You will have to update your arma 3 to the 1.30 hotfix using this code Arma3Hotfix130
Once updated you can join those server. One server is "Hardcore" and one is "Normal".

Ive always hated trader cities. They are constantly camped and trolled by mindless kids and people trying to steal from you. I love the the number of traders on the map now and that they are spread out. If you suspect one of being camped go somewhere else.

They idea of being able to kill them, im not sure i agree with. That will turn into a greifing issue on a full live server as they will all be dead.

Just my two cents

So if I am a player who loves to play and I dont watch other people playing cause my time is limited and I love to play, I cant play Epoch. That just sounds wrong. :( I mean its not like I have to be there at a specific time. That giveaway takes place over multiple hours.
 
So that Mod connected us cause we love to play it and now its about watching other players play instead of playing on our own. I leave that here. Its just something to think about. :D

Bitsync is now working and has version 0.1 RC3. But this should be a hint that we are super close!

I managed to get the Arma 2 Guitar addon to work on Arma 3, and took all day putting together this to help my plea. I also retextured the guitar a bit.
 
All addon credit goes to USSR Sniper of course.
