Joeyy
Hi, During the testing of my map additions I am working on I got really annoyed by changing the _vehicle_ID to something unique in case it was already taken. I couldn't be bothered doing it after chaning it once so I quickly decided to write a small program to do this for me. Using the software, all you have to do is set a starting ID and the program will loop through the file you open with it and change all the _vehicle_IDs with your starting ID. It automaticly increases the starting ID by itself. It supports SQF and TXT files, and probably a lot more. Hopefully you guys find it useful like I did! Achmed
Would this work to allow you to merge 2 beidi files?
TheVampire
Would this work to allow you to merge 2 beidi files? Thats almost the point. This would let you merge two SQF Map Additions into one file.
Achmed
Ah ok :) I'm half asleep still and was thinking had to be a sqf file format or a txt format. I'll go back to sleep lol
Joeyy
Thats almost the point. This would let you merge two SQF Map Additions into one file. It will help you merge 2 SQF additions into one file without having to worry about duplicate ID's. Also makes it looks a bit more clean.
Soul
and what kind of problems would duplicate id's cause? i'm shure with the ammount of mapedits i run on my servers i have dozens of duplicates but i dont really notice any problems unless i'm completely oblivious to it ...
