Server running a different version?

I learned Epoch has updated. We got all excited and started updating the server. When Joining we had this issue This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are the server admin please contact DayZ staff.
 

 

After endless trying to resolve and searching forums after forums, we decided to rebuild from scratch again. Followed everything step by step. Same issue.

Below is everything I could find that I edited and logs.

Config.cfg located in C:\Users\Server\Desktop\Server 2014\instance_11_Chernarus as its always been in the past updates

Then the Console seems to not be loading after player logs in. Same as Server Log.

Both vcredist have been installed and server restarted after install.

All I can say is while in the lobby before connecting in game..... there is now mission file downloading. Cuts right to the Epoch loading screen.

Yes Epoch client is updated by Dayz Commander and then finally Torrent. Stressed my friends really stressed.

If anyone has any knowledge how to fix this or even has the same issue, maybe when can resolve it together.

I am using the files in the DayZ_Epoch_Server_1.0.4b_Release.7z files downloaded which if I am correct already have the fixes applied. Also getting the server is running the wrong version. I have uninstalled the epoch on the server and reinstalled and reapplied the files, also downloaded and installed the required files linked in the post. Is there something I am missing?

Hi, having this issue on our Vilayer server, ran the Live sync update & the update epoch trader tables from the ACP now no one can join & all gets the above error when they try.

 

I have a support ticket open with them but history says they will take hours lol, anyone?

When I first messaged them about it they asked if I run the live sync as if I don't know how to update the server after having it for months.

so wish I could afford a dedicated box as have no problem with my local test server

 

Yeah the new guys they brought in have been a bit....slow. Weird that you guys are getting this error, installed Napf last night to give it a go and didn't see anything unusual. I updated a few minutes after they announced the 1.0.4b patch.

Ok now I do care lol, nothing from vilayer yet of course.....

 

It must be something we've changed in the .pbo that doesn't get updated by the live sync update?

 

Sure I have a lot of mods running now on 1.0.3.1 but surely a clean live sync update should at least run vanilla 1.0.4?

 

Happy I'm up & running with 1.0.3.1 but wants 1.0.4 ;)

 

I hate when they update (ofc I want updates but..) & I have to reinstall everything, gotta be an easier way?
